OPI Damone Roberts 1968

*Purchased by me*

Hi everyone! Today I have a lemming that was recently squashed to share with you. OPI Damone Roberts 1968 has been much talked about and sought after ever since I have entered the "nail world" and it has only been available via the secondary market at pretty ridiculous prices for the past few years. Luckily, Damone Roberts decided to bring it back one more time to his shop and I was lucky to get a bottle this time!

OPI Damone Roberts 1968 is a warm mint green creme polish. This is a custom shade that OPI made to match the paint color of the walls in his salon. It is very flattering on and a lovely shade of mint (and I love mint EVERYTHING). I used 3 thin coats for this mani. I wouldn't pay crazy prices for this, but I'm certainly glad that I was able to snag it for my collection because it is a beauty!

And THEN...Damone Roberts actually liked it on my Instagram and shared it on his page! How cool is that?

OPI Damone Roberts 1968 is still available from his website for a limited time, so be sure to grab it while you can if it is on your wishlist! Thanks for looking everyone!

  1. I was all set to purchase it during preorder in early June...I was grudgingly willing to pay $20 for the polish, but then it was going to be $7 to ship it, and I just couldn't justify $27 for this color, which I probably have (and don't wear) similar shades of....

  2. This was very unusual when it first came out and I still do like it - but it's not that 'unique' shade anymore - when it came out, no one wore green (or even purple) polish - the polish world sort of blew up not long after that -- but what I notice the biggest difference is all the holos - there was a time when those early DS OPIs were beyond the most unique things out there.
