Hi everyone! The theme for June's Polish Pickup is "Video Games" so makers used inspiration including everything from good old fashioned arcade games, old-school video games that many of us played as kids on the very first computers and gaming systems, to current popular games. This month I was lucky to swatch polishes from Dreamland Lacquer, KBShimmer, Lollipop Posse Lacquer, Pahlish, Pretty Jelly, Rogue Lacquer, and Scofflaw for you. June's Polish Pickup will start on June 1st and will run until June 4th.

Hi everyone! Today I have a brand new collection from Lollipop Posse Lacquer to share with you! Karen designed the 2018 Shimmers collection as a sort of palette cleanser for the new year, and boy was it that for me! Don't get me wrong, I adore all of the crazy complex finishes that exist in the indie world today, but this collection of lovely contrasting shimmers just took me back to the start of my polish journey! I feel like they have a little nostalgia combined with fantastic formulas. All in all, I've enjoyed the heck out of wearing these polishes this past week! The 2018 Shimmers Collection released in the Lollipop Posse Lacquer shop at 2 PM Eastern (with a special price for the first 24 hours if you order the full collection). 

Polish Pickup November 2017: Lollipop Posse Lacquer Spirit of the Kohaku River

Hi everyone! Tonight I have Lollipop Posse Lacquer's contribution to November's Fandom-themed Polish Pickup. Karen created Spirit of the Kohaku River with inspiration from the movie "Spirited Away", and man...it is a showstopper! This month's Polish Pickup will start on November 3rd and will run until November 6th. Spirit of Kohaku River will be priced at $12 and it will have a cap this month so do not dawdle if you want to snag one for yourself (though Karen says it is a really generous cap).

This trio consists of 3 jewel-toned jellies filled with shifty shimmery goodness that were inspired by "The Magicians". The trio has been released for pre-order before, but if you haven't grabbed these beauties yet do note that this will be the last time it will be available, so grab them while you can! Hi everyone! I've got a gorgeous layering combo to share with you today, courtesy of Lollipop Posse Lacquer and OPI! I haven't purchased many glitters lately, but I could not resist completing my Christmas Kiki Collection with the beautiful This Kiki is Marvelous when Karen recently re-released it (it's sold out now...it was a limited restock). This glitter is really versatile and would look amazing over a variety of colors, but I wanted to pair it with a vampy shade to really make the glitters pop. I chose OPI Kerry Blossom, from the Washington D.C. Collection from Fall 2016. There were so many pretty cremes in that collection...I really need to wear more of them! This was such a lip-smacking combo...love!

The June theme is Under the Sea and Lollipop Posse Lacquer has created a lovely sea-worthy holo for the occasion. The sales dates for this month are June 2nd-5th in the Polish Pickup shop.  Lollipop Posse Lacquer Sea Secret, is a deep, blue-leaning teal linear holo. Formula was super nice to work with and I used 2 easy coats for full coverage. This is a very sophisticated holo with a slightly looser holo flame. The teal shade is rich and gorgeous...perfect for all of the teal lovers out there. Sea Secret was inspired by Tori Amos' "Liquid Diamonds". Here is what Karen had to say about the collection inspiration

Each of these three shades is inspired by one of Karen's favorite literary characters: Delirium, from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" graphic novels. Delirium is the youngest of the seven Endless, beings who are neither gods nor mortals, but have existed since the dawn of time. Delirium is abstract, lost, naive, and wise, and embodies a chaotic state of being that we've all experienced at one time or another.

Polish Pickup: Lollipop Posse Lacquer Good Morning, Lollipop!

Hi everyone! Today I have Lollipop Posse Lacquer's contribution to the first ever Polish Pickup!

The Polish Pickup is an interactive shopping experience where a theme is voted on by the Polish Pickup Pack group and a selection of makers will make polishes inspired by that theme. All of their polishes will be available to purchase from the Polish Pickup shop and you can pick and choose which polishes to purchase (there is no box commitment) and just pay one shipping fee. The Polish Pickup shop is live the first Friday of each month at 11 AM EDT.  It stays open for four days, until the following Monday at Midnight EDT. There will be a 2-3 week TAT after the polishes are purchased.

Hi everyone! Today I have a Lollipop Posse Lacquer's Things That Can Never Be Unleashed for Halloween 2016. This sinister quartet of polishes was inspired by one of my recent Netflix binges, Penny Dreadful. If you haven't seen it and you want to see a twist on some classic horror characters, it's definitely worth checking out (though my husband and I are still very sad that it only has 3 seasons). Hi everyone! Today I've got the brand new Deck Your Halls Collection from Lollipop Posse Lacquer to share with you. This 7-piece collection in gorgeous holiday shades was inspired by classic lines from Arnold Schwarzenegger films. This is my very first time trying this brand and I am super impressed! Creator Karen is doing a stellar job as one of the newer indies on the block and I can't wait to see what she will do next! This collection will be releasing this coming Wednesday (November 18th) at 8 PM EST in the Lollipop Posse Lacquer shop.

Deck Your Halls 2015 is a collection of seven shades that take their names courtesy of Lollipop's favorite actor - Arnold Schwarzenegger! In our house, the Lollipop hubs and I finally have enough time during the Holidays (we always take some time off together) to sit down and binge on our favorite action flicks. Hope you enjoy these polishes as much as we enjoy our Arnold!
