*Nothing to Disclose*
Hi everyone! I'm playing catch-up again so I will be posting several times today. For the Animal Print prompt in the 31 Day Challenge, I thought I had a great a super unique idea! Turns out, Emily from Nail Polish Society and I must share the same brain! Anyway, I still love the look so I did it anyway.

Multichrome Mondays: Enchanted Polish Entwined
*Purchased by Me*
Hi everyone! I realized that the comparison post I had planned for today needed its pictures retaken since I have some new additions to that family! I will retake them and schedule them for next week instead (since it didn't occur to me until all of my sunlight was gone). In the meantime, I have a multichrome that is pretty unique as far as I can tell and that is Enchanted Polish Entwined. I really thought it would be a dupe for something because the color shift seems similar to other things I've seen, but it turned out to be pretty unique. The only polish that I know has a dupey shift is its "parent polish", Enchanted Polish 2 AM Summer Night, which is a plain version without the added holo and holo glitter.
Enchanted Polish Entwined has a deep plummy purple base. It shifts from a deep bluish purple (that almost looks navy in some lights) to a bright magenta pink and then even a reddish orange at extreme angles. It also has some holo pigment as well as holo microglitter which makes the base more complex. Formula was excellent to work with and it was completely opaque in 3 thin coats with no need for undies. I must say I was so impressed with this polish and I was skeptical that it would stand out in the crowd of my massive multichrome collection. It's truly a beauty and fantastic collaboration with Didoline's Nails.

Enchanted Polish Holiday 2014
*Purchased by Me*
Hi everyone! Today I have the lovely Holiday 2014 from Enchanted Polish to share with you. After the May, June and July monthlies, I sort of got over the monthly "mystery polish" deal. I didn't get November or December's mysteries, but there were preview pictures of Holiday 2014 and I could not resist picking it up. I'm so glad I did, because it is now one of my absolute favorite Enchanted Polishes. It doesn't seem to be getting a lot of love because a lot of people really loved November and December, but it was the standout to me. This polish was a limited release, so unfortunately it will not be available again to purchase.
Enchanted Polish Holiday 2014 has an deep olive green base with a coppery red/gold/green multichrome shift and linear holo flame. I think this might be the same pigment that is used in Enchanted Polish I am the Walrus, but in a green base (or at least that is what it looks like to me). The formula was great and had full coverage in 2 easy coats. I think this polish is just stunning and I'm so glad I decided to pick it up.
Enchanted Polish is available from their Big Cartel shop as well as from Nail Polish Canada (Canada), Mei Mei's Signatures (Singapore), and Femme Fatale Cosmetics (Australia). These polishes sell out really quickly (which is why I love the pre-order idea), so be sure to check out restock times so you can snatch them up when you can.

Enchanted Polish May, June, and July 2014 Mystery Polishes
Hi everyone! I've got Enchanted Polish's latest offering of monthly mystery polishes for you today. Let's jump right in!
Enchanted Polish May 2014 is a reddish-orange linear holo with a strong pink microflake shimmer throughout. This makes the polish take on an overall corally tone. This is my favorite of the three for sure! I love orange and this orange is just gorgeous. The pink shimmer is very apparent in real life and adds more depth and interest to the polish. I used 2 coats for this mani. It has the most jelly-like formula of the 3 polishes and was the most holo.
Enchanted Polish June 2014 is a medium purple holo with a multichrome shift. The multichrome shifts from purple to red and maybe even a touch of orange. It is a more subtle shift than other Enchanted Polish multichromes, but it is definitely there. It has a thicker base, so I wiped a good bit off of my brush and did 2 thin coats.
I had a difficult time capturing the true color of this one. It wanted to pull a deeper purple in pictures (maybe because of the multichrome pigment?). This is the closest to how it looks in most lights (maybe a touch brighter purple than this). It has a metallic quality to it. Sorry it isn't perfect, I tried my hardest to get an accurate picture.
These pictures are more to show you the color shift. As I mentioned, its a bit lighter than this but my camera made the base color pull darker for some reason.
Enchanted Polish July 2014 is a shimmery cherry red linear holo with blue sparks. The blue sparks aren't really visible on the nail, but I can see them in the bottle. This polish, to me, reminds me of a classic shimmery red that has been holofied (think of OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress or OPI An Affair in Red Square). This one was also on the thicker side, so I wiped a good bit off of my brush each time and did 2 thin coats (it was pretty opaque at one coat though. The holo on this one was the most subtle of the bunch, but it still gave a nice glowy effect.
This one taken in the light box really shows the shimmer well so you can see what I mean about it looking like a holo version of a classic red shimmer.
Enchanted Polish is available from their Big Cartel shop as well as from Nail Polish Canada (Canada), Mei Mei's Signatures (Singapore), and Femme Fatale Cosmetics (Australia). These polishes sell out really quickly (which is why I love the pre-order idea), so be sure to check out restock times so you can snatch them up when you can!

Enchanted Polish Water For Unicorns + NYC Shimmer Blast Sweet Candy
Hi everyone! I was lucky enough to finally slay my Enchanted Polish Water For Unicorns lemming recently via a swap. I was worried I would be let down when I finally saw it in person, but nope, it is amazing! What I was hoping for was a blue holo that was close to the color of my beloved Illamasqua Fern, and this one was really close. Water For Unicorns is a bright, medium blue linear holographic with a creamy base. The holographic effect isn't the strongest out there since it is in a creamy base, but it is still very nice. The color is just mesmerizing. The formula was fantastic and required 2 coats for full coverage. I'm very much in love with this polish!
After wearing this for a day, I still didn't want to take it off. I decided to add a little sparkle to it to see what would happen. I picked up NYC Shimmer Blast topcoat in Sweet Candy. This topcoat has a clear base with purple/ pink shimmer. I used 1 coat of Sweet Candy over Water For Unicorns here. I loved how it added a whole new dimension to the polish without completely obscuring the holo. The shimmer was even more obvious in real life than in these pictures. I absolutely adored this combo!
I found NYC Shimmer Blast Sweet Candy at Rite Aid in the newer displays. Be sure to pick this beauty up before it's gone!

Enchanted Polish March 2014 and April 2014
Hi everyone! Once again I did the Enchanted Polish pre-order, and this time it was for both March and April's mystery polishes. Overall, I'm really pleased with the colors this time, so let's get on to pictures!
March 2014 is a chartreuse linear holo with a sprinkling of blue sparkles (these don't really show on the nail). The holo is really strong and the color is vibrant. This polish had more of a jelly-like finish and was perfect at 2 coats. I'm so excited that March was a green, and a stunning green at that!
April 2014 is a creamy, light periwinkle holo. This polish is on the thicker side and I did thin it a little bit before application. It is pretty opaque and almost good at 1 coat, but I did 2 coats to even it out. The holo isn't as strong as in March 2014, but it is nice. This color is soft and elegant and I really like it.

Enchanted Polish February 2014
Hi everyone! Another month...another mystery polish... Enchanted Polish had another pre-order for the month of February and the mystery polish this time is really a stunner.
Enchanted Polish February 2014 arrived today and though I had seen a few sneak pictures of it, it is much darker than I thought it would be. It looks much lighter in the bottle than on the nail. It is a creamy deep purply wine colored linear holographic with fine pink shimmer. The shimmer is actually pretty prominent in this polish and I love the depth it adds. This polish is thick (very easily a one coater), but manageable. I made sure to wipe off most of the excess before application because otherwise the polish would keep dripping from the top of the brush and I would end up with WAAAAY too much polish on my nail. Because of this, I found it best to use 2 thin coats. Overall, I'm really pleased with this polish. I'm still hoping some brighter colors are released soon, but this one is stunning.

Enchanted Polish January 2014
Hi everyone! If you didn't know it, Enchanted Polish recently did a pre-order for a mystery polish for the month of January 2014. I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to take the plunge. I was pleasantly surprised!
January 2014 is a deep smoky teal linear holo. The formula was impeccable, a true one coater. I did do a second coat but it really didn't need it at all. The holo isn't the strongest out there (it has a bit of a creamy base vs a jelly base which tends to make the holo flame not as bold) but the flame is still nice in the sunlight. It reminds me a lot of a linear holo version of a-England St. George. There are some blue micro sparkles in the polish as well, but they don't translate a lot on the nail...maybe a glimpse every now and then.
Was a pleased with a pre-order? 100% yes! So much better than regular Enchanted Polish restocks. Was I pleased with it being a mystery? Ehhhh...not really. When I'm paying that much money for a polish, I want to be sure I'm buying something I love. The good thing is that they are very easy to re-sell if I happened to not like it, so that made it an easier pill to swallow. Fortunately, I do love this one!

Enchanted Polish Green Goblin
Hi everyone! I'm not sure how it happened exactly, but I guess I've turned January into "Holo Month" here on Lavish Layerings. I guess I'm just in a holo mood lately. Today I have a beauty from Enchanted Polish to show you. My pal Linda gave me Green Goblin last year in a secret swap because I had been lemming it for ages. Unfortunately, it has been long discontinued so it's really hard to find now (and if you do...it's pretty pricey).
Enchanted Polish Green Goblin is a bright, grass green holo. The color is even brighter in certain lights than it appears in my photos. The holographic effect is pretty middle of the road (not the strongest linear, but not the weakest). The formula is smooth and pretty opaque with this one and has a more metallic finish vs a jelly finish. No special base or topcoats are needed. Isn't it a beauty?

Enchanted Polish Yesterday
Hi everyone! Here is a quick and dirty mani I did using Enchanted Polish Yesterday. I say quick and dirty because I literally slapped it over my previous CrowsToes Hellhound mani when I couldn't bother to do a fresh mani after work one night. Yesterday was the most recent edition to Enchanted Polish's Beatles themed Imagine collection. I was lucky to pick it up the first time it was stocked in their Big Cartel shop. It is a holographic multichrome that shifts from burgundy to purple to bronzy gold. It reminds me of a holographic version of Ozotic 521. Just beautiful (like all of the polishes from this collection).
Enchanted Polish is available from their Big Cartel shop as well as from Harlow & Co. (Canada), Nail Polish Canada (Canada), Mei Mei's Signatures (Singapore), Norway Nails (Norway), and Femme Fatale Cosmetics (Australia). These polishes sell out really quickly, so be sure to check out restock times so you can snatch them up when you can! Thanks for looking everyone!

Favorite Yellows
Yet another category that had ABSOLUTELY ZERO polishes in it about a year ago. There still are only a few, but the ones that are here are awesome!
KBShimmer Where My Peeps At? Instant love for this polish. It is so fun and perfect for its namesake. Amazing formula as well.
CrowsToes Toxic Buttercup (over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow) . The pink/blue shifting sparkle in this one really makes it special. It is more of a layering polish for me, but you can build it up on it's own. Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow is more of a true yellow (think Tweety Bird) and I do like it, but I use it more for nail art or accents. I don't know that I would classify it as a favorite because I would never wear it on its own, but it serves its purposes for sure. I don't find it very flattering on my skintone by itself.

Smitten Polish Bananaberry Gumdrop. This is the perfect shade of buttery yellow. And the subtle flakes make it special.
Revlon Colorstay Buttercup (shown under Oopsie Daisies Apple Picking...another favorite). This is the perfect buttery yellow creme. I absolutely adore it and say so often to anyone who asks for a good yellow creme. Not streaky either.
Enchanted Polish Yellow Submarine. This one has a slight greenish tint to it and is surprisingly flattering.
Jaybird's Fruit Martyr. This is from my buddy Jaybird who makes (and occasionally sells) her frankens. This was the very first yellow that made me feel like I could wear yellows. The shimmer is interesting and gorgeous in this one.
I am actually waiting on two more yellow polishes in the mail that have a lot of potential for awesome, so I will make a yellow part II post if I love them! Like with my oranges, I'm also VERY (even more so) picky about my yellows.

Enchanted Polish Kids
Hi everyone! I was fortunate enough to snag ONE of the new super holo Enchanted Polish multichromes from the Time to Pretend Collection at their last restock. Kids, I believe, Is a super holo version of Magical Mystery Tour. The multichrome aspect of this polish is similar to Ozotic 505, Hits Mari Moon Cutie Pie, or Sally Hansen Turquoise Opal, with a strong holographic effect added. The colors shift from turquoise/blue/pink/gold. And the best part...no undies required! This is 2 coats, no undies.
Indoor light. The colors are so pretty and shifty!
