Polish Revolution Looking Glass Logic

Hi everyone! Today I have a polish that I've had for aaaages that I decided to pull out for a wintry-feeling glitter mani. This idea was inspired by some beautiful pictures on Instagram that I saw by @lacquerloon and @thepolishedokie of a totally different blue glitter polish that they both swatched over a light neutral base color that really let the glitters shine, and I thought it looked so pretty! So even though this polish looks nothing like those...it was the polish that came to mind when I saw those pictures and I just had do something similar! #randommaniinspiration

Polish Revolution Looking Glass Logic is a clear-based glitter topper filled with blue, copper, and color shifting glitters. Formula was excellent with a good glitter load and it spread easily. For this mani, I layered 1 coat of Looking Glass Logic over a white creme. Then, for even MORE sparkle, I added one coat of Northern Lights Gold topcoat (super fine scattered gold holo glitter). It added just a touch more depth to the finished look that I really liked. I had to fight the urge to matte this, and I wish I had before I took it off just to see how it would have looked. Looking Glass Logic is part of Polish Revolution's Alice in Wonderland Trio (which are all gorgeous by the way) which was one of Polish Revolution's earlier releases.

Polish Revolution Reading is Fun-damental

Hi everyone! Today I have a microglitter polish from Polish Revolution's Such a Drag Collection for you. This collection was inspired by RuPaul's Drag Race. Reading is Fun-damental is a green based microglitter that has very a mixture of very tiny green and slightly larger green glitters with gold, lavender, and blue glitters sprinkled throughout. The formula had just the right glitter density and spread really well. I used 1 coat over Orly Lucky Duck for this mani. As a green lover...I definitely approve of this polish!

Polish Revolution What Alice Found

Hi everyone! I've been saving this Polish Revolution polish for fall because I think the colors are so warm and cozy, especially over the layering choice I picked out. Polish Revolution What Alice Found is from the How Curious collection (inspired by Alice in Wonderland) and it is a mixture of find burgundy and gold glitter with fine pink holographic glitter. The formula is nice and dense and I used 1 coat over American Apparel Berry for my manicure. Doesn't this combo just scream fall?

Essie Smooth Sailing + Polish Revolution The Sea Was Boiling Hot

Hi everyone! I have a very soothing mani for you that I did this weekend. I was looking around my stash and I found one of my old favorites, Essie Smooth Sailing. The color of this polish is so pretty and the shimmer is just to die for! It is hard to even capture the awesome that is the shimmer of Smooth Sailing. It is one of my favorite Essies for sure, and I'm pretty sure it is part of Essie's core line now too.

In keeping with the theme of matchy matchy undies (see Purple Shimmer Sunday post) I chose to layer Polish Revolution The Sea Was Boiling Hot over Smooth Sailing. It was a match made in heaven. The glitters in The Sea Was Boiling Hot remind me a lot of the color palette of Lynnderella Forget You Not, but I like this small glitter version much better. This is 1 coat over The Sea Was Boiling Hot over Smooth Sailing.

Then I decided to matte the whole thing with 1 coat of Essie Matte About You. I loved every step of this mani progression.
