Hi everyone! It's me again! I've got 4 gorgeous polishes from 4 amazing makers to share with you for January's Polish Pickup, and tonight I have Great Lakes Lacquer's offering for you to check out. The theme for January is "Crystals & Gemstones" and Mariah chose the glowing Dragons' Breath Fire Opal to use as her inspiration. This month's Polish Pickup will start on January 5th and will run until January 8th.

Hi everyone! Tonight I have Great Lakes Lacquer's new Notes to Self Collection to share with you! The collection is a quartet of thermals that have amazing shimmer. These will debut next weekend at Polish Con and the collection will have a special price of $35 (individual polishes will be $10 each). They will debut in the Great Lakes Lacquer's shop on September 30th at 2 PM EST (prices will be $38 for the collection and $11 each).

Hi everyone! Today I have some Indie Expo Exclusives from Great Lakes Lacquer to share with you today, as well as two June Limited Editions which will also be available at the Indie Expo. These are some truly unique beauties that Mariah has cooked up, so you will definitely want to get your hands on them if you can! The event exclusives will be available after the Indie Expo starting on June 9th at 2 PM EST (Indie-cent Exposure will have overpour only available). The June Limited Editions will be available online starting on June 1st at 2 PM EST to July 2nd at 2 PM EST (and of course, you can pick them up at the Indie Expo if you are there).

Today I have a Polish Con Spring 2017 Exclusive to share with you guys from Great Lakes Lacquer. This time around, the makers are doing some events leading up to Polish Con and they are taking turns releasing their exclusive polishes ahead of time for those who will be unable to attend. This week, Great Lakes Lacquer and Different Dimension are releasing two exclusives, and I have the GLL to share with you today. This exclusive will be available from January 15-January 21st in the Polish Con shop. Polish Con will be taking place on April 29, 2017 in NYC (see more event details here).

Hi everyone! Today I have a brand new edition to the Ladies of GLL series in which Great Lakes Lacquer creator Mariah is collaborating with each of her bloggers to create an inspired polish! This month's collaborator is Jenne from Polished Pathology (be sure to follow that link because she has a great round-up of all of the Polish Con exclusives). This polish will debut today at Polish Con in Chicago (if you are going I'm SO JEALOUS!) and then will be released on the Great Lakes Lacquer website on September 21st.

The A Nude Awakening Collection was inspired by Mariah's love of coffee and disdain for mornings (I'm totally there with you on mornings...NOT a morning person). These are all gorgeous twists on neutral shades that are both work appropriate and fun! The A Nude Awakening Collection will debut at Polish Con on the September 17th and will be up in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop on September 21st.

Hi everyone! You are going to see several posts from me today that I wanted to post earlier in the week, but my computer/editing program has been giving me nightmares! I was finally able to get everything working this weekend, so I'm going to start by showing you some new releases from Great Lakes Lacquer including one that I'm particularly excited about...a custom that I collaborated on which is the first in the Ladies of GLL series! Mariah is going to be teaming up with a member of her blogger team each month to create a gorgeous custom which will be available during that month. There are also several single pours going up as well and these will be first-come first-serve so be sure to grab them before they are gone! The single pours and my custom, Never Gonna Give You Up, will be released in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop tomorrow (8/15) at 7 PM EST.  

I have 4 of the single pours to share with you, but Jenne from Polished Pathology and Savannah from Addicted to Polish will be showcasing some as well!  I will link their posts as soon as they are up!

Hi everyone! Today I have Great Lakes Lacquer's newest collection called The Great Ones to share with you. These beauties are inspired by maker Mariah's beloved Great Lakes in Michigan, which is of course what her brand is named for. I think it is fitting that for her 1 year anniversary that she has come full-circle and is paying homage to the beautiful lakes which inspired her brand's name. The Great Ones Collection released today in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop.

Great Lakes Lacquer Washed in Holo

Hi everyone! Today I have a gorgeous new Great Lakes Lacquer polish to share with you! Washed in Holo is a twist on the recently released Washed in Magenta, it's simply a holo version of it and boy is it a stunner! This polish will be released on April 15th at 3 PM EST in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop along with a small batch prototype and some samples (Washed in Holo WILL be restocked in the future though).

Washed in Holo is a berry purple strong linear holo with neon purple microflake and purple iridescent microflake shimmer. Formula is excellent and I used 2 easy coats for full coverage. The shimmer isn't as prominent in photos due to the gorgeous flame, but it adds a nice depth to the polish. This is JUST my type of shade and it is SO pretty!

I must say that creator Mariah really curated this collection perfectly and each one of these is so well done! Hi everyone! Long time, no see! Sorry for being a terrible blogger, but I've had a ton of craziness going on in my life including a surprise promotion with a ton of new responsibilities, so I've had a lot of adjusting to do. I had to take a little break to try to get back on track, and I'm almost there! I also got a new camera which I'm struggling with (I've already figured out a class is necessary to work this thing!) so if you notice a little inconsistency in today's post it's because I've got a few photos from the new camera thrown in there. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and I have a fantastic collection to start  you off with!
