Hi everyone! Today I have a beautiful Dance Legend to share with you from the Wow Prisms line. Holy Diver has a bright turquoise jelly base filled with scattered holo shards. Formula was top notch and built up nicely to opacity (this is 3 thin coats, but it would have been ok at 2 coats). Holy Diver is another amazing Wow Prism...this line just ever ceases to impress me!

Dance Legend Different View

Hi everyone! Today I have a gorgeous polish to share with you from Dance Legend's Holodays Collection. Dance Legend Different View has so many things going on! It's a linear holo with added scattered holo bits and it also has a duochrome that shifts from green to purple. Could you really MAKE that any better? The formula is fantastic and does not require a dark base color to make the duochrome pop. I used 3 thin coats for this mani. Needless to say, this is one of my favorite polishes that I have worn in recent memory because it has all of the things I love all wrapped up into one polish. You will stare at your nails A LOT when you wear it.

Dance Legend Beautiful Lie

Hi everyone! Today I have a gorgeous polish to share with you from Dance Legend (because let's face it...they are all gorgeous). This is another one from their Wow Prisms line and dare I say, it is my favorite so far.

Dance Legend Beautiful Lie is a periwinkle blue jelly filled with scattered holo shards. The holo really shines through with this one and is just glorious. I used 3 thin coats for this mani. I mean...just look at it!

 

 

After I wore it for a day, I still didn't want to take it of, so I decided to do some stamping over it. I used OPI Road House Blues and MoYou London Pro-XL 10 plate for the design. Nothing too flashy, but I liked it. The sparklieness of the base made it hard to photograph, but it really looked much better in person.

Dance Legend Inhale

Hi everyone! Today I have a beauty from Dance Legend's Wow Prisms line to show you. Dance Legend Inhale is one of the newer colors in the line that was released for spring. Inhale is a lime green scattered holographic polish. The green jelly base is one of the more sheer ones in the Wow Prisms line, so it really allows the holo bits to take center stage and sparkle in the sun! Formula is great and builds really nicely. I used 3 thin coats for this mani. You guys know I'm a green lover, so this one got high marks in my book!

Evolving Purple Mani: Featuring Pahlish, Dance Legend, and MoYou London

Hi everyone! Today I have another evolving mani for you. Sometimes I just can't stop, ya know?



I started off with Pahlish Sleep to Dream, which has an wine jelly base with all sorts of shimmer in it, but the predominant colors seem to be blue, red, and copper. The formula was great, with complete coverage in 3 thin coats. If you love vampy polishes, this one is definitely a winner! This polish was part of the Winter 2013 collection from last December and is currently discontinued in Pahlish's shop, but there are still a few available from Llarowe.

Next, I layered on 2 coats of Dance Legend Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy is a purple jelly filled with blue/green flakies and red/green color shifting shimmer. The shimmer reads mainly red in this polish with a very weak shift at certain angles. I found the jelly to be pretty sheer, and even though I have seen it worn on its own, I thought layering it would be better. Since it is layered over the wine base, it really takes on that color instead of the purple that appears in the bottle.

Then finally, I used MoYou London's Sailor Plate 05  and China Glaze 2030 to do some scalloped stamping. I thought the final mani had a very regal look.

Evolving Blue Mani

Hi everyone! Today I have a simple evolving mani for you. I started out with a base of American Apparel Lazuli and then added 1 coat of Darling Diva Polish Dreamy (a holo topcoat). Then, the next day, I added 2 coats of Dance Legend Sun Still Sleeps from the Candy Flakes line. Sun Still Sleeps is a little sheer, so I thought it would look best over a base color. It was opaque enough that it pretty much obscured any sparkle from underneath. Very pretty though!

Here is American Apparel Lazuli with Darling Diva Polish Dreamy alone. Dreamy is a linear holo topcoat that has several grades of holo pigment in it which gives it a more sparkly look. It isn't the most "in your face" holo topcoat out there, but I love it because it really lets the base color shine through instead of making it look greyed out.

American Apparel Lazuli is a cobalt blue creme. The formula wasn't bad, but it wasn't as nice as most of the other American Apparel cremes that I have. I found that the formula just behaved kind of strangely (hard to explain). It took 2 coats for full coverage. I also found it to be a touch stainy with my cuticles, but not the nail plate. It's one of the newer additions to their line, so it isn't a terrible choice if you are needed a cobalt blue creme, but I have others that I much prefer(Barry M Cobalt Blue, Nina Ultra Pro Cobalt). They aren't exact dupes of Lazuli, but they are in the ballpark.

I use American Apparel polishes quite often, and I never brag about them enough. They have a fantastic range of cremes for reasonable prices. If you are looking to expand your creme collection, be sure to give them a look! Even though I wasn't a huge fan of Lazuli, their other cremes are worth picking up. My favorites include: Hassid, Poppy, African Violet (which is d/c unfortunately), Office, Angeline, Mouse, Berry, Port, Peacock, Passport Blue, and Malibu Green.

Hi everyone! Today I have a polish from the Dance Legend Wow Prisms line called Danger Danger. It is a hot cherry red jelly base filled with holo shards. This polish is amazing! I wore it for date night with the hubs and he liked it (he really just likes red polish). The formula was great and completely opaque in 2 coats. A must have for red lovers!

Dance Legend Hysteria

Hi everyone! Today I have a polish from the Dance Legend Wow Prisms line called Hysteria. It is a purply pink jelly base filled with holo shards.   From pictures I've seen of this polish, I expected it to be more of a lilac color, but on me it leaned really pink. The formula on it was thinner, so I used 3 coats for full coverage. It's a lovely polish, just not as purple as I was expecting (or maybe it is just my skintone?).

30 Day Challenge, Day 9: Rainbow

Hi everyone! Today's prompt in the 30 Day Challenge was Rainbow. Instead of a traditional rainbow, I was inspired by the rainbows in oil slicks. That, of course, means that multichromes came into play. I actually used the entire Dance Legend Chameleon Collection for this look (minus The Knight). I used plate NC02 from Nailz Craze and randomly dabbed the colors on the plate for each nail. I then stamped the design over black to make the multichrome pop. I loved this design so much!

30 Day Challenge, Day 4: Holo Polish

Hi everyone! Today in the 30 Day Challenge, we had to wear a holo polish. I recently purchased a gorgeous purple holographic polish from Elevation Polish called Haleakala from their Heights of Hawaii Collection. It is a deep red-leaning purple linear holographic polish. It has a jelly base (my favorite kind of holo base) and it was opaque in 2 coats, or 3 for good measure. It is so rich and amazing...instant love for me! To have a little fun for the challenge, I taped off  a "V" a the end of each nail and painted on Dance Legend New Messiah, a metallic gold holographic. I really adore purple and gold together, and this design was fun to wear!

Here is Elevation Polish Haleakala on its own. Gah...it's so pretty! Also, for any of you that are lemming Ozotic 513 (which was discontinued a year or so ago) this is a really close match for it!

Dance Legend Strutter

Hi everyone! I have a beauty for you today that I've been waiting on for 2 months! My Dance Legend order finally arrived from Russia on Saturday, and Strutter was first on my list to wear. Dance Legend Strutter is an emerald green jelly with scattered holo shards from Dance Legend's Wow Prisms line (similar to the L.A.Girl Holos and piCture pOlish scattered holos). Formula was impeccable with only 2 easy coats needed (it was pretty much opaque in 1 coat though). I did note a tiny bit of staining at my cuticles during removal, but none on the nail plate. That minor issue is completely overshadowed by the gorgeousness that is this polish.

Stamping with Dance Legend Chameleons

OMG...this mani is EPIC! As soon as I got my polishes from the Dance Legend Chameleon collection, I knew I wanted to try stamping with them since they were more opaque than other multichromes I have. For this mani, I used a base of black polish and then I stamped using Boo, Wazowski, Roz, and Boggs (I sort of dabbed them in each corner of the stamping image so that if you divided each nail into 4 sections, each is a different polish. I used Bundle Monster plate 205 for the design. Here are SEVERAL pics!
