This morning I have Lemming Lacquer's offering for March's Polish Pickup for you to see. The theme for March is "Books" so makers could choose any literary inspiration that they desired, and Cassie decided to go with Neil Gaiman's Black Orchid. Polish Pickup will start on March 2nd and will run until March 5th.

Hi everyone! Today I have Lemming Lacquer's offering for February's Polish Pickup for you to check out. The theme for February is "Sugar Rush" so makers were inspired by all kinds of beautiful sweets and treats, and Cassie chose a delicious strawberry confection from a very special trip as inspiration. February's Polish Pickup will start on February 2nd and will run until February 5th.

Here is some more about Cassie's inspiration for the polish:

 Last year I was able to visit my boyfriend in Beaverton, Oregon which is just outside of Portland.  It was the happiest, most at home, and most relaxed I've ever been despite it being my first time visiting.  One sunny and all too warm day we trekked to Pix Patisserie in northeast Portland.  We bought a few different desserts to try once we got back home but the best among an assortment of exceptionally yummy treats was Le Frasier, a dessert made to look like a strawberry. 
 The flavors effortlessly switched from sweet to tart, strawberry to lemon, and back again. The texture of the mousse was by far the smoothest I’ve ever had and so light it defied explanation at how saturated it could be with flavor. I never knew food could taste this good! There were many perfect moments in that trip and Le Frasier was one of them.

Hi everyone! I've got 4 gorgeous polishes from 4 amazing makers to share with you for January's Polish Pickup, and tonight I have the last one to share with you from Lemming Lacquer. The theme for January is "Crystals & Gemstones" and Cassie had a little creativity with her inspiration choice and chose a crystal from the game Borderlands called the Elemental Artifact to use as her inspiration. Hi everyone! Today I have the second installment of Lemming Lacquer's You Are What You Worship Collection. This collection is inspired by the show American Gods (see the part 1 of the collection where I posted here). The palette of these shades is also perfect for the holiday season (in my opinion), so it is releasing at the perfect time! Part 2 of the You Are What You Worship Collection will release in the Lemming Lacquer shop on December 15th at 7 PM Central.

Hi everyone! Long time, no see! I've gotten to have a little bit of down time this month (a little getaway last week was very welcomed since I haven't been able to take a vacation since LAST DECEMBER!) Anyway, today I have the first installment of Lemming Lacquer's You Are What You Worship Collection. This collection is inspired by the first season of the show American Gods (and this is just Part 1...Part 2 will be released soon!).

You Are What You Worship is a collection inspired by the gods and beings introduced in the first season of American Gods.  Inside is a rich world of ancient myth and folklore at war with technology, modern media, and globalization against the backdrop of America's byways.

Hi everyone! Today I have a brand new collection from Lemming Lacquer to share with you called the Daedric Princes Collection. This collection, based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, consists of 12 shades with a variety of complex holo, glitter, and flake finishes. This collection was a true pleasure to swatch as they just kept getting better and better the more I went! In addition to the Daedric Princes Collection, Cassie will also be releasing 4 monthly polishes (September 2016, October 2016, November 2016, and December 2016). These will all be releasing on December 30 at 7 PM CST in the Lemming Lacquer shop.

Lemming Lacquer The Conjure Collection

Hi everyone! I have another Halloween collection to share with you today, this one from Lemming Lacquer! I've been a long-time fan of Cassie's polishes and I am so excited to review these pretties! The Conjure Collection is inspired by Voodoo and Hoodoo, so it's a very different and creative twist on a Halloween collection. The names of these polishes come from the Loa (spirits) that are invoked during rituals as well as some ingredients used in Hoodoo spells. I love that this collection isn't just stereotypical Halloween shades so that they can be enjoyed all during the Fall (or all year!). The Conjure Collection is available now in the Lemming Lacquer shop.

Lemming Lacquer Serafina the Firebreather

Hi everyone! Today I have a beauty from Lemming Lacquer to share with you! I've just recently ordered a few polishes from this brand and I'm very impressed with them so far! As I'm writing this, I actually think I have swatches somewhere of another Lemming Lacquer pretty that I wore a while back SOMEWHERE on this computer, but I will save it for another time since I don't want to go hunting at the moment. I was swatching a gorgeous burgundy creme for an upcoming collection for another brand that you will be seeing very soon on the blog (Friday hopefully!) and I spied Lemming Lacquer Serafina the Firebreather sitting in my untried box and I just knew it would be gorgeous on top!

Serafina the Firebreather is filled with gold/copper/red color shifting metallic flakes and scattered gold holographic microglitters all in a holographic base. I've seen a ton of swatches of this on its own and it is really gorgeous that way, but I wanted to see how it would pop over a vampy base so I used 1 coat here over a deep burgundy creme. This polish is so appropriately named because it is like having fire on your nails! It's a gorgeous GORGEOUS polish and I'm so glad that I snagged it! It is from Lemming Lacquer's recently released Vagantem Damnatorium Collection for Halloween. I also wanted to throw in that I adore creator Cassie's attention to detail in packaging because she includes amazing handmade themed cards and packaging for each of her collections that are just beautiful and add an extra special touch when you dive into your package.
