Polish Pickup June 2018: Video Games

Hi everyone! The theme for June's Polish Pickup is "Video Games" so makers used inspiration including everything from good old fashioned arcade games, old-school video games that many of us played as kids on the very first computers and gaming systems, to current popular games. This month I was lucky to swatch polishes from Dreamland Lacquer, KBShimmer, Lollipop Posse Lacquer, Pahlish, Pretty Jelly, Rogue Lacquer, and Scofflaw for you. June's Polish Pickup will start on June 1st and will run until June 4th.

Scofflaw Radioactive Kracken and Radioactive Sea Monkey

Hi everyone! Scofflaw has a restock planned for tomorrow (April 27th), and there are two brand new limited edition shades that Finch will have available! These polishes will be joining her previously released Radioactive Mermaid, so they will make a sort of radioactive sea creature trio (Radioactive Mermaid will be restocked in addition to these new releases). The restock will be tomorrow at 7 PM Central time in the Scofflaw shop.

Hi everyone! Tonight I have Scofflaw's offering for April's Polish Pickup for you to check out. The theme for April is "Across the Universe: Planets & Galaxies" so makers used intergalactic inspiration for their polishes. One of Finch's first and most popular polishes of all time was inspired by David Bowie (and he is one of her favorite artists of all time), so she decided to pay homage to him once again with her April polish and his song/music video Life on Mars? April's Polish Pickup will start on April 6th and will run until April 9th.

Today I have Scofflaw Nail Varnish's offering for February's Polish Pickup for you to check out. The theme for February is "Sugar Rush" so makers were inspired by all kinds of beautiful sweets and treats, and Finch chose these gorgeous Space Brownies as inspiration. They look too beautiful to eat, and this polish is beautiful as well. February's Polish Pickup will start on February 2nd and will run until February 5th.

Hi everyone! Polish Pickup December 2017: Scofflaw Pale Blue Dot

Hi everyone! Tonight I have Scofflaw's offering for December's Polish Pickup! The theme for December is "Holidays Around the World" and Finch chose Earth Day to use as her inspiration. 

This month's Polish Pickup will start on December 1st and will run until December 4th (it's starting a few days early this month to allow for makers to get polishes out by Christmas!). 

For Earth Day, Finch drew inspiration from a quote by Carl Sagan about Earth, when viewed from deep space (approximately 3.7 billion miles away) in a photo taken by a space probe. 

"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam."

This will pit two of everyone's favorite Marvel heroes against each other, Captain America and Iron Man and this duo represents them perfectly! Scofflaw Nina Sings the Blues

Hi everyone! Today I have a gorgeous limited edition from Scofflaw to share with you! This beautiful LE called Nina Sings the Blues will release on February 26th at 8 PM CST for a one-time 24 hour pre-order.

Nina Sings the Blues is a blue jelly filled with bright blue shimmer and blue, grey, and pale orange glitters in various sizes. Formula had a good glitter density and built up nicely to opacity in 2 coats (and I used 2 coats of topcoat to get a glassy smooth finish). I absolutely adore this polish and I really think it might be my favorite Scofflaw LE yet! Per usual, the shimmer just puts this polish over the top and I was already sold when I heard the color combo (orange and blue is always a winner). Also, per usual, the colors weren't quite what I was expecting when I heard "orange and blue" but were instead a much more unique combo with the pastel orange and blues and they work so wonderfully with the darker blue base shade.
