Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's Never Ending Summer Trio to share with you as well as a limited edition polish (which may or may not already be gone...I'm sorry about that!). The theme of this trio hits very close to home for me because living in south Alabama, I never really feel like we get a true "fall". It goes from hot as hades to a little less hot. We will get some fall/winter days but it feels like maybe for a week we get cooler weather and then it will creep back up into the upper 80's again. *Sigh* ANYWAY...what I'm saying is...I FEEL YA NIKOLE! The Neverending Summer Trio is available now in the Hare Polish shop.

Hare Polish "We Have to Go Back Kate!" - The Lost Collection, Part 1
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have a Hare Polish's recently relased "We Have to Go Back Kate!" - The Lost Collection, Part 1 to share with you. Nikole all but promised that there will be more Lost polishes in the future since she has a love affair with the show, but these are the very first additions. I have never watched Lost, put it has been on my "to do" list for years. I'm going to watch it one of these days, I'm determined! It looks like these polishes are out of stock currently in the Hare Polish shop, but hopefully they will be restocked soon!

Hare Polish Daddy Warlock for October's A Box, Indied
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's contribution to October's A Box, Indied. The theme for the September box is "Bewitched!" and all of the polish have a mystical, magical theme that's perfect for Halloween. October's box is also a very special all holo box, so if you are a holo lover you definitely want to pick this one up. Other participants in the October box include Colors by Llarowe, Girly Bits, Serum No. 5, and Different Dimension. The October box releases this Saturday (September 26) at 12 PM MDT on Llarowe's website.
Hare Polish Daddy Warlock is a black linear holo filled with multi colored ultra chrome flakes, gold flakes, and reddish/coppery flakes. Formula was super easy to work with and I got full coverage in 3 thin coats. All of the colors look so beautiful swimming against the inky black base and make for a truly magical polish. It's definitely not your average black holo and I would expect nothing less from Hare Polish!

My First Indie!
*Nothing to Disclose*
Hi everyone! Today I'm participating in a fun link-up with some other members of the nail community where we are sharing our first indie polish! After a little perusal of my Etsy history, I figured out that my very first indie purchase was from none other than Hare Polish, waaaay back in the summer of 2011. I remember my first purchase from Hare was Archipelago, Bisbee, and Pegasus. At the time I didn't know much about glitters or how to apply them. I also had super short nails and pastels looked horrid on me. For those two reasons, I ended up swapping Pegasus away. Then, as luck would have it, Nikole re-released Pegasus a few years later and a snatched it up again after having swappers regret. So for today's post, I decided to re-visit Pegasus!
Hare Polish Pegasus is a lavender jelly filled with various sizes of silver and white hex glitters. Formula was pretty easy to work with, but I found it worked best to use thin coats so that too much glitter didn't end up on the nail. It looked perfect at 3 thin coats, with 2 coats of topcoat to smooth it out. I must say, I really love the soft ethereal look of Pegasus. It's funny how after a few years a polish I hated on me I now think is really quite flattering!
Be sure to check out what everyone else's first indie polish was! What was you first indie polish purchase? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for looking everyone!

Hare Polish Sea Bunny and Pilgrimage to Pebble Beach
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have two new Hare Polishes to share with you! Sea Bunny is a new addition to the Jackalope line (which are her one-offs that don't belong to a particular collection) and Pilgrimage to Pebble Beach is a late addition to Nikole's Welcome to Twin Peaks line. Both of these were restocked yesterday and are currently available in the Hare Polish Etsy shop!
Sea Bunny is an ivory white jelly filled with black squares and hexes, charcoal flakies, gold flakies, and a sprinkling of holographic shimmer. The formula is very easy to work with and spreads well with a great glitter/flakie load. It started off sheer, but built up really nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. This is just classic Hare awesomeness! This is definitely one of my new favorite Hares! And by the way, this polish is inspired by the cutest little sea creature ever, the Sea Bunny!
Pilgrimage to Pebble Beach is a soft neon green jelly filled with blue/purple ultra chrome flakies and red copper flakes. Formula starts off sheer, but builds nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. This one is such a bright and happy green! The flakies pop perfectly against the base!
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info. Thanks for looking everyone!

Hare Polish Inverse Universe for September's A Box, Indied
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's contribution to September's A Box, Indied. The theme for the September box is "Opposites Attract" and it features finishes and/or effects that the makers don't typically make in their own lines. Other participants in the September box include CrowsToes, Girly Bits, Serum No. 5, and Black Cat Lacquer.
Hare Polish Inverse Universe is a deep burgundy jelly holo filled with ultra chrome flakies. Formula is very nice with complete coverage in 2 coats. Hare Polish has never done a full on holo before (only scattered ones) but the addition of the flakies really give it that Hare personality. It's still not an "in your face" holo because of the multitude of flakies, but it's definitely the most holo Hare that Nikole has ever made. This polish is pure vampy gorgeousness and among my favorite ultra chrome flakie polishes to date.
A Box, Indied is available from Llarowe for $50 each. Each box contains 5 polishes and/or products that are exclusive to that box and will not be available individually. You can sign up to receive a box each month or you can purchase the boxes individually when they are released. Follow Llarowe's Facebook page for announcements of exact dates and times of releases (the box for the next month is usually released around the end of the previous month.) She will also give previews of the products and makers that will be in the box (there is a rotation of makers that are included, it isn't always the same). Thanks for looking everyone!

Hare Polish Dreams Under a Microscope
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's latest release, Dreams Under a Microscope, to share with you. This polish is an addition to their "Jackalope" category, so that means that it doesn't belong to any specific collection. This was recently released in Hare Polish's shop and is in stock now!
Hare Polish Dreams Under a Microscope is described as a dusty sea-blue jelly with tiny white and lavender squares, charcoal flakies, copper flakies, ultra chromes flakies (predominantly purple), icy white flakies, and holographic shimmer. Formula started off sheer, but built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. It has a great mix of glitters, shimmers, and flakies floating in the squishy jelly base so I can definitely see how Nikole was reminded of looking through a microscope and seeing all of the sparkly stuff floating around...like a magic pond water sample, perhaps?
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info. Thanks for looking everyone!

Hare Polish Bikini Kill Duo
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's newest release, a duo inspired by the feminist punk band Bikini Kill. I've heard of this band but I've never heard their music (I really need to diversify what I listen to...I'm pretty boring) but they sure did inspire some gorgeous Hare creations. As usual, Nikole has come up with some unexpected color combinations that just work so well, and I was very excited about these when I put them on. These have been stocked once already in the Hare Polish shop and are currently sold out, but I expect they will be restocked again soon.

Hare Polish Lana Del Ray Limited Edition Shades
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have a limited edition duo from Hare Polish to share with you. This Lana Del Ray inspired duo is limited to 250 bottles each and Nikole has already released a portion of those in her shop on May 25th and she is sending some to her stockists. Stay tuned to her Facebook Page/Instagram for news on a restock of these shades and be sure to grab them when you have a chance!
I'm Your National Anthem is a cherry red jelly filled with blue/purple ultra chrome flakies, gold flakies, and holographic shimmer. This is a super squishy jelly and the formula starts out sheer, but builds up nicely in 3 coats. The ultra chrome flakies look royal blue most of the time, so it really fits with the patriotic theme and makes this one of the most unique patriotic themed polishes I own! I absolutely adore the way that Nikole has started splashing in some holo sparkle in her polishes because it just creates beautiful depth here.
Pretty When I Cry is a sandy beige crelly filled with metallic silver flakes, iridescent blue mini flakes and blue shimmer. This polish also starts out very sheer, but builds up in 3 coats to nice coverage with just a slight visible nail line. You could do 4 coats for full opacity if you wanted, but I like the slight VNL with this squishy nude. This is a very "office friendly" polish that also has a twist with the blue iridescent bits that pop at when the light hits it. I love the silver flakes with the nude base too...who would have thought that would look so awesome? I was worried this would look weird on me since I typically go for pinky nudes on my skintone, but I actually thought it looked very nice!
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info. Thanks for looking everyone!

Hare Polish Femme Fatale Cosmetics Exclusives
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have two Femme Fatale Cosmetics exclusives from Hare Polish to share with you. These two squishy and sparkly Hare creations are even Aussie themed, so they are extra special! They are currently sold out on Femme Fatale's website, but keep watch for restock notifications from them because you don't want to miss out on these pretties!
Mermaid Sighting in the GBR is a tealy-blue jelly filled with pale pink dots and hexes, gold iridescent hexes and flakies, and lots of blue/purple shimmer. There is a ton of glitter in this one, so I took care to wipe one side of my brush with each coat so I would not overload my brush with glitter. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity and 2 coats of a thicker topcoat to smooth out the glitter and give it a glassy smooth surface. I think when Nikole went for a mermaid polish, she really hit it out of the park! Everything about this polish screams "ocean" and it is just gorgeous! The blue/purple shimmer is so glorious in real life and really pushes this polish over the top.
Kracken Vacations on Kangaroo Island is a neon pinky-purple jelly with small black hexes and squares and iridescent blue/purple glitters and iridescent blue shimmer. This one starts out sheer, but builds up nicely to opacity in 3 coats. Formula flowed easily with good glitter load/distribution. Because they are smaller glitters, this one didn't need a ton of topcoat to smooth it out (I used 2 coats of a thinner topcoat, NYC Grand Central Station, but I bet you could get away with one coat of a thicker topcoat). This polish is all sorts of stunning! The blue/violet glitters and shimmers just glimmer and glow in the base and the black adds a nice contrast. I agree with Valesha from Peachy Polish, this is definitely among my favorite Hare Polishes now!
These two polishes are exclusives for Femme Fatale Cosmetics, but other products from Hare Polish are available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info.

Hare Polish Archipelago 2.0
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! Hare Polish has recently reformulated an old favorite from their very first collection! The original Archipelago was one of the first indies I ever purchased (back when Nikole just had a collection of 4 polish including Bisbee, A Positive, Pegasus, and Archipelago on her Etsy) and now after people have been begging for a reboot of this polish for years, Nikole has made an updated version called Archipelago 2.0. Now just to be clear, this is definitely not a dupe of the original (and I have a comparison at the end of the post), but I feel like it really captures the spirit of the original and puts an updated twist on it.
Arichipelago 2.0 is a navy jelly base filled copper hexes and squares as well as copper flake shimmer. The formula on this one was really nice for a jelly and it reached opacity in 2 medium coats. Application was good with good glitter distribution and I used 1 coat of a thicker topcoat (KBShimmer Clearly On Top) to get a smooth finish. I'm really digging the added interest of the different shaped glitters as well as the shimmer in this one compared to the original. I'm so glad that Nikole decided to re-work this one because I know that the original was always a favorite amongst Hare Polish lovers!
Here are some comparisons of the original version vs the 2.0 version. The base colors are very similar, but the addition of more glitters and the copper flake shimmer make the 2.0 version appear slightly dustier in photos. The base of the new version is more opaque also. As I meantioned above, I really like the glitter density in the new version and the added shimmer. This brings back so many memories...of when I didn't know what Etsy was and I visited it for the first time...and when I had never worn glitter polishes...and had less than 10 indies... :O
Original Archipelago (3 coats)
Archipelago 2.0 (2 coats)
Comparison: Original on pointer and ring finger, v2.0 on middle and pinky finger
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info

Hare Polish Stir Crazy Spring Collection
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's gorgeous Stir Crazy Spring Collection to share with you. This is a collection of 5 polishes that are full of shimmery (and flakie) goodness. I love Nikole's glitters, but I'm totally over the moon for the flakie creations she has been making lately. Three of these are very springy colors but the other two are quite unexpected and appreciated in a spring collection. These are available now in Hare Polish's Etsy shop.

Hare Polish Name Unavailable: Trademarked
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! Today I have a gorgeous Hare Polish to share with you. Name Unavailable: Tradmarked was a recent one-off that Nikole was inspired to make after the premiere of Better Call Saul, which I still haven't watched but am very intrigued by. This polish is currently out of stock in the Hare Polish shop, but hopefully will be restocked soon.
Name Unavailable: Trademarked is a dusty denim blue crelly filled with silver metallic flakes. The formula of this polish is absolutely dreamy. It is perfectly smooth and opaque in 2 easy coats. I love the simplicity of this polish! The shiny silver pairs pops perfectly against the creamy blue base. This is actually the second time I've worn this baby because it is just so chic and easy to wear. This color was Nikole's interpretation of Hamlindigo Blue from Better Call Saul.
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info.
