Scofflaw Nail Varnish LE Holiday Duo and Small Swatch Spam

*Some items in this post were provided for review*

Hi everyone! Today I have a new limited edition Holiday Duo from Scofflaw Nail Varnish to share with you that will be released this Sunday (Nov 30) for a 2 hour pre-order window (12 noon-2 PM Central) along with a restock of the current line.

First up I will show you the Holiday Duo and then I have swatches of a few of the polishes that will be restocked on Sunday.

Coniferous is a soft evergreen creme with fine silver shimmer. Formula on this was very smooth and easy to apply and it built up nicely in 2 regular coats or 3 thin coats. The addition silver shimmer gives it a lot of depth and interest. This isn't a traditional pine green, but brighter, lighter version like you see in a lot of evergreen trees, and I like that twist. I found that it looked a touch more muted when you pair the glitter topper with it.

Those Berries are Poisonous is a clear-based glitter topper with silver, gunmetal, translucent red, burgundy, and white glitters including some small dot glitters. Glitter density and spread of this polish were great and it covered well in 1 coat over Coniferous. Dot glitters always make me happy when they are thrown in the mix, so I loved this topper immediately. I think it pairs well with Coniferous, but I also think it would look cool over other bases so you could get a lot of uses out of it during the holiday season (I particularly want to try it over a taupey grey creme.)

And now...more swatches!

Arcane Sugar is a mint green crelly with peach, orange, and copper glitters as well as peach shimmer and iridescent flecks. Formula was good and built up easily in 3 thin coats. This is one of those weird and wonderful combinations that I would never think would work on paper, but looks awesome when you actually see it. The shimmery/iridescent bits in this polish really make it special.

Aeroplane Over the Sea is a medium blue crelly with blue, green, and gunmetal glitters and flake shimmer. Formula was on this one spread easily and built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. When this collection was released, I was immediately drawn to this polish because it is such a happy blue (and that is the description on the website...it's true!)

Your Cat Ain't Cute is a bright coral crelly with gold, coral, and brown glitters. Formula is really nice on this one with great glitter distribution and builds up easily in 3 thin coats. I would like to note that I have one of the bottles where there is some white residue in the bottom of the bottle (this affected several brands this past year because of a particular white colorant that they used). As you can see, it does not affect the color of the polish that goes on your nail one bit, it is just as vibrant as ever. The name of this polish cracks me up because I'm such a dog person in a sea of cat lovers. :)

Love Letter to Mr. Rogers is a deep teal green creme with gold flakes and red-orange shimmer. Formula was very nice on this one with full coverage in 2 coats. The shimmer/flakes are so stunning in this polishes because they really pop against the deep base color.  Plus...Mr. Rogers. Nuff said.
