Stamping with Mundo de Unas Polishes over OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around

Hi everyone! Here is some recent nail art that I did utilizing my Mundo de Unas stamping polishes from Mexico. These polishes are very thick and opaque, so they stamp very clear, crisp images (even over darker colors). The one caveat is that they have a really strong smell, so if you are sensitive to scents you may want to avoid them. Also, I would recommend doing clean-up on each finger as you are stamping to avoid staining since they are very pigmented polishes. I did not have staining issues, but I could see clean-up being much more difficult if you waited until the end.

For this mani, I reached for the first two colors that grabbed my attention and did some layered stamping. I started off with a base of OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around and then used Mundo de Unas Yellow (11) and Aqua (24) to stamp. The images I used were from Bundle Monster BM201 (bottom stamp) and Cheeky XL Wild at Heart (top stamp). This mani was so bright and happy that I couldn't bear to change it for a couple of days.

Here is OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around on its own. This polish is from the recent Brazil Collection and it is such a perfect nude for me! I've had a few "nudes" that I have loved on me (OPI My Very First Knockwurst and Zoya Rue), but in actuality, they were nudey pinks. This is an actual nude (that does have pink undertones) that works wonderfully with my skintone. Formula was good, with full opacity in 3 thin coats.

Mundo de Unas stamping polishes can be purchased on their website. They sell them in full sized bottles and mini bottles. Shipping was quite reasonable from Mexico to the US and it took about 6 weeks for them to arrive to me, but I think that was due to some temporary circumstances that the seller was having that have been resolved. I have heard that normally it takes about 3 weeks. They have a nice assortment of stamping plates and other nail art items as well, so be sure to check those out.

You can find OPI polishes wherever OPI is sold in your area (I get mine from Sally Beauty and Ulta in my area) or from online nail polish vendors. Displays for the Brazil Collection are still plentiful in the stores that I have been to recently, so Don't Bossa Nova Me Around should be easy to locate if you are looking for a good nude polish.

Thanks for looking everyone!

    1. Thanks so much Debbie! They stamp really well, better than any polishes I've ever used. But the smell is rough, I'm not gonna lie!
