Hi everyone! You may have heard that there is a very special collaboration this August between Elevation Polish and Pahlish. Both Lulu and Shannon have a mutual love for the Netflix Marco Polo series and they have each created a 7 piece collection inspired by the series as well as a collaborative duo. All of the colors and finishes are really rich and lush and make me think of the treasures that Marco Polo would find along the Silk Road. Each of their 7 piece sets will be available in their respective shops only but the duo will be available in both shops during the month of August. They also will all have special "Elevation Pahlish" labels. The Pahlish Adventures of Marco Polo Collection and the collaborative Venetian Duo will be launching in the Pahlish shop this coming Sunday, August 2nd at 7:00 PM CST.

Hare Polish Dreams Under a Microscope
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's latest release, Dreams Under a Microscope, to share with you. This polish is an addition to their "Jackalope" category, so that means that it doesn't belong to any specific collection. This was recently released in Hare Polish's shop and is in stock now!
Hare Polish Dreams Under a Microscope is described as a dusty sea-blue jelly with tiny white and lavender squares, charcoal flakies, copper flakies, ultra chromes flakies (predominantly purple), icy white flakies, and holographic shimmer. Formula started off sheer, but built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. It has a great mix of glitters, shimmers, and flakies floating in the squishy jelly base so I can definitely see how Nikole was reminded of looking through a microscope and seeing all of the sparkly stuff floating around...like a magic pond water sample, perhaps?
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info. Thanks for looking everyone!

Baroness X Northern Lights Trio
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have a new to me brand to share with you, Baroness X. I was very excited to try them for the first time, and what a killer collection to start out with! The Northern Lights Trio is a set inspired by, obviously, the aurora borealis and is available as a set for $29 or you can also buy the polishes individually. There are two holos and a glitter topper in this set that all coordinate beautifully! I also love that maker Demi has coordiating cabs on the top of each bottle, such a pretty touch!

Paint All the Nails Does Floral
*Nothing to Disclose*
Hi everyone! We are taking a week off from Multichrome Mondays because I'm very excited to participate in a link-up today with some of my favorite bloggers for Paint All the Nails Does Floral! <3 No joke...I feel like I'm among celebrities here! Since the theme for this link-up is florals, who better to inspire my nail design today than one of these fellow artists! I've long admired the fabulous free-hand designs that Lindsey at Wondrously Polished creates. I've been intimidated to try them in the past, but I figured that this was the ideal time to give it a go. I used her Vintage Floral design as inspiration for today's manicure, and I'm so completely smitten with how it turned out!
I wanted to pay homage to Lindsey's design, but I decided to use a different color scheme to give the look a slightly different feel (she used pink, teal, and green for hers). I started off with a base of Polish My Life Rays of Sun, a pale buttery yellow creme. For the artwork, I used acrylic paints (I use these acrylic paints for nail art) in orange, and two different shades of blue (I custom mixed the colors a bit to get them the shade I wanted). Freehand art is definitely not my specialty, so this was a challenge! I played around with a dotting tool and detail brush but finally decided that the brush was working better for the design. Roses are so hard for me, I don't know why! They were the most difficult part of the design to make look right. After I finished with the design, I finished it off with a coat of OPI Matte Topcoat which really gave the look the perfect finishing touch. I'm definitely not on Lindsey's level (because she is crazy talented!) but I was very pleased with how my design turned out, especially for a first try! I loved the color scheme too...it felt very much like a vintage fabric. If you want to give this design a try, Lindsey has a tutorial for it on her blog. It's a very free-form design so you can switch it up however you want, but she shows how to create the basic elements of the design step-by-step.
Be sure to check out what the other ladies have in store for today...I know it is going to be amazing! I'm so excited to see their manis! Thanks for looking everyone!

Great Lakes Lacquer August Limited Editions
*Press Sample*
Hi everyone! I recently shared Great Lakes Lacquer's very first collection with you, and today I have two new limited edition polishes that will be available in August. There are a total of 3, but I have 2 to share with you today (check out this post by Ida Nails It to see the third LE, Torch's Purple Haze). These polishes will be available starting August 1st and will remain available until the 31st. Once again, Mariah provided her inspiration for these polishes (I really love that she does that!) so that is included after each polish description.

HPB Presents: Starry Night Skies
*Some products in this post were provided previously for review*
Hi everyone! Today I have July's Hobby Polish Bloggers Link-Up and the theme for this month is Starry Night Skies. For my mani, I was inspired by the aurora borealis (northern lights), which is one of the most gorgeous natural phenomenons in the world. I love to look at pictures of the blankets of colors with stars peeking through...it doesn't even look real! I can't imagine how glorious it would be to see in person!
For this mani, I followed the steps for a traditional galaxy mani like I've done several times in the past. I started off with a base of Glam Polish Nani (from the Over The Rainbow flakies). Next I used a make-up sponge and sponged on random sections of white using KBShimmer Eyes White Open. Then, I came back and sponged on sections of blue (KBShimmer In Yacht Water), green (KBShimmer Shore Thing), and purple (KBShimmer Sarong Place, Sarong Time) over the white to mimic the gorgeous colors of the aurora. Next I used my dotting tool and fine nail brush to place random "stars" all around using white acrylic paint. Finally, I finished off the mani using KBShimmer Dust in the Bottle to add some holographic sparkle. I love galaxy manis so much and they are so easy to do! It's easy to use different bases and color combinations to make each one unique, and I really loved the colors of this one and how they looked similar to colors I've seen in photos of the aurora borealis. It's definitely more of a free-form sort of nail art and there is no wrong way to do it, so if you want to dip your toes into nail art, try this!
Be sure to check out what everyone else did for their Starry Night Sky manis! I was very tempted to do something Van Gogh-inspired, but I didn't know if I could pull it off. Maybe one day soon I will try that! Thanks for looking everyone!

Literary Lacquers Bottletown
*Purchased by Me*
Hi everyone! Today I have a polish to share with you from Literary Lacquers' Vurt-U-Want Collection, which is their most recent release. I actually picked up 4 polishes from this collection and I was going to wait and share them all at once, but I keep doing that with a lot of my purchases and then it takes me ages to actually share them because I don't get around to wearing them in a timely manner (no kidding...I think I have photos somewhere of some of the polishes from Literary Lacquer's Community Collection from December and I can't even find them...I must re-swatch at some point!) Does anyone else do this? It's a terrible habit and I've done it with a lot of my purchased polishes because I really like posts that feel complete with all of the polishes I have from a collection together. I think it's me being OCD, so I'm going to attempt to post more of my purchased polishes in a timely manner without worry about the "collection". ANYWAY...enough with the random blogger musings, let's look at this pretty polish!
Bottletown is a bottle green linear holo with iridescent flakies and glass flecks. The formula was absolutely lovely on this polish, much like the other linear holos I have from Literary Lacquers. I got complete coverage in 3 thin coats. The flakies are so lovely but they are a little camera shy in some lights (especially full lighting that shows off the holo effect) but they really pop when you move your fingers around. I really love Literary Lacquer's glittery holos, but putting flakies in all the holos is also a VERY GOOD CALL (hint hint...make us more Amy!).
Here you can see the gorgeous flakies better in a bit of lower lighting. SUCH PRETTY COLORS!
Literary Lacquers can be purchased from creator Amy's Etsy Shop. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram for updates on restocks and new collections (and of course to see lots of pretty swatches!). The Vurt-U-Want Collection is available for purchase now, so be sure to check it out!

*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have 3 new additions to Pretty Serious' The Museum of Naileontology Collection to share with you! Hare Polish Bikini Kill Duo
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's newest release, a duo inspired by the feminist punk band Bikini Kill. I've heard of this band but I've never heard their music (I really need to diversify what I listen to...I'm pretty boring) but they sure did inspire some gorgeous Hare creations. As usual, Nikole has come up with some unexpected color combinations that just work so well, and I was very excited about these when I put them on. These have been stocked once already in the Hare Polish shop and are currently sold out, but I expect they will be restocked again soon.

Multichrome Mondays: Sally Hansen Turquoise Opal and "Kids"
Hi everyone! Today for Multichrome Mondays, I have what is arguably one of the most popular color shifting families out there to share with you. The parent polish to this set of pretties is Sally Hansen Turquoise Opal, which is one that I have not been able to get my hands on throughout the years (though funnily enough, I think I might have owned it when I was a kid and then thrown it away before I was into nail polish). Fear not though, I have plenty of dupes for this polish that are pretty easy to get your hands on these days.

Great Lakes Lacquer The Friends Collection, Part 1 + ID
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! Today I have a brand spanking new indie brand to introduce you to called Great Lakes Lacquer. The introductory collection, The Friends Collection, Part 1 was inspired by some very special friends in maker Mariah's life. What a great idea for a collection and wonderful source of inspiration! Mariah included some descriptions of the friends that inspired this collection, and they are so thoughtful, so I included them in my post with each polish. The Friends Collection, Part 1 (along with 3 limited edition polishes for July) will all be launching on July 12th at 3 PM EST in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop.

Multichrome Mondays: Dance Legend Roz, ILNP Nostalgia and "Kids"
Hi everyone! For this editon of Multichrome Mondays we have some newcomers on the multichrome scene. When Dance Legend released their Chameleon Collection, I had never seen a multichrome quite like Roz before and it was instant love. The vibrant color shift from magenta to golden green is just magnificent and I wanted all the polish that I could get my hands on with that finish. The first proclaimed dupe that I heard of was ILNP Nostalgia, so I quickly ordered it. Once I got my hands on it, I discovered that it wasn't a dupe at all, but rather a whole different beautiful color shift. The golden green is similar, but the base color is more of a muted reddish pink color instead of the bright magenta. Since these are often confused, I decided to include them all in one post.

Pahlish July Trios: Jungle Book Trio and Tropical Trio
*Press Samples*
Hi everyone! In addition to the July Duo that I posted about yesterday, Pahlish is releasing two trios tonight (July 5) in a pre-order event! The pre-order window will start at 7 PM CST and lasts for 24hours. The Jungle Book Trio is a set of holos inspired by The Jungle Book and the Tropical Trio is a set of neon jellies filled with flakies and shimmer with a tropical fruit theme. I've seen questions about this in a few places so I wanted to make sure to point out that these are all going to be available individually, not as sets, so you can pick and choose which polishes you want from each trio. Keep in mind that most of these polishes have a neon element to them so they are not camera friendly, but I tried to get them as close as I could. Let's take a closer look!
