Elevation Polish Woke Up in China Collection + Yeti the Stone Warrior

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have a brand new Elevation Polish collection for July to share with you! The Woke Up in China Collection is a total departure from last month's dark and vampy Street Graffiti Collection. This collection is full of softer colors with muted brightness that are just perfect for summer. There is also a special limited edition Yeti that will only be available during the month of July, so be sure to grab it before it's gone! Also, don't forget about the Bamboozled Duo with Girly Bits that will be restocking during the month of July with this collection. All of these will be launching on July 7th at 9 PM CST, so be sure to mark your calenders!

Kawagebo is a powder blue creme with golden microshimmer. Formula was pretty easy to work with, but it did have the potential to streak on the first two coats, but evened out nicely with a third coat. The shimmer in this is very subtle and gives the finish a little softness so that it doesn't have a stark, chalky look. It's more apparent in person than photos, but it's definitely not an "in-your-face" shimmer. This shade of blue is absolutely lovely and I enjoyed it so much with my skintone.

Mount Wutai is a jade green crelly. Formula was on the thin side, but built up easily in 3 thin coats with no application issues. I am totally smitten with this green and I think it is just perfection. It has a slightly squishy finish which is really nice and plays into the jade quality of it. It definitely makes me think of carved jade figurines! I don't know how Elevation keeps stealing my heart with their cremes, but they always do!

Yungang Grottoes is a peachy-coral creme with golden microshimmer. Formula was similar to Kawegebo but didn't have as much potential to streak. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage, but 2 thicker coats would likely work as well. This one was difficult to capture perfectly because it wanted to lean very orange in photos. It's a very orangey coral for sure, but it just leans more slightly coral in real life. It's pretty bright actually, but a muted sort of bright that goes so well with the other colors in this collection (I'm just obsessed with how pretty they all look together!). This is also a subtle shimmer but it pops more against the coral base here than it Kawagebo, so it's more visible in real life. This is so vibrant and perfect for summer!

Camels in the Snow is a glitter topper filled with white and taupe matte glitters as well as golden iridescent glitters. Formula was very easy to spread with a good glitter load. I used 1 coat over Mount Wutai for this swatch. The teeny stars and larger dot glitters come out of the bottle easily without having to fish, so you get a nice glitter mix on each nail. I did use a thicker topcoat (KBShimmer Clearly On Top) to smooth it out, but it only took one coat for a smooth finish. This glitter coordinates perfectly with all of the cremes/shimmers in this collection and would look nice over pretty much any color I think. A very lovely and versatile topper.

Yeti the Stone Warrior (LE) is a clear-based topper filled with platinum silver flakes and holo pigment. Formula is super easy to work with and has great coverage over a base color in 1 coat (here I used 1 coat over Kawagebo). This is another very versatile topper that you could layer over pretty much anything and get a beautiful effect. I love the silver flakies combined with the holo so much! This Yeti is limited edition just for the month of July, so be sure to grab it at the restocks on the 7th or 22nd.
