Hi everyone! Today I have Hare Polish's gorgeous Stir Crazy Spring Collection to share with you. This is a collection of 5 polishes that are full of shimmery (and flakie) goodness. I love Nikole's glitters, but I'm totally over the moon for the flakie creations she has been making lately. Three of these are very springy colors but the other two are quite unexpected and appreciated in a spring collection. These are available now in Hare Polish's Etsy shop.
The Wanderer is a deep purple jelly filled with ultra chrome flakies that reflect gold, bronze, purple, pink, blue, and teal as well as gold flakies, golden iridescent glitter, and gold shimmer. This polish starts out sheer but builds up nicely in 3 coats. You get such amazing depth in the jelly goodness of this polish, it's really a stunner!
Born to Roam is a soft mint green jelly with metallic silver flakies, gold flakies, and gold shimmer. This one is more on the sheer side but it is nice and squishy with a slight VNL at 3 coats but you can acheive full opacity at 4 coats. I actually wore this for about 4 days and the first day I wore it at 3 coats and I liked it just fine that way, but then I actually added a 4th coat before I took photos and I loved the additional depth and of the 4th coat, so to me it's worth it. I adore mint greens and this one is so squishy and nice! It's definitely a unique mint in my collection with it's gorgeous flakes.
Desperately Seeking Blue Skies is a dusty robin's egg blue with ultra chrome flakies that reflect pink, purple, blue, and green with golden iridescent glitter and gold shimmer. Formula on this one was great with full opacity in 3 thin coats. I was salivating over this one as soon as the collection preview pics were posted and it did not disappoint. The combo of this rainbow of flakies against the dusty blue base is just perfection and the added gold shimmer is fantastic.
On the Road Again is a dusty mauve jelly filled with ultra chrome flakies tht reflect gold, green, bronze, and red, purple/blue iridescent glitter, pastel hex glitters, and gold shimmer. Formula started off sheer, but built up nicely and evenly in 3 coats. Ya know, with a lot of collections there is usually at least one polish that I'm just totally meh about when I see previews and such and that was definitely how I was feeling about this polish...until I put it on. Now I'm completely smitten with it and I think it is now one of my favorites from the collection! It's such a flattering, wearable color and the glitter and flakies give it a wonderful twist. This is definitely not your grandma's mauve (although I think mauve gets a bad wrap in general, it's a wonderful color!).
Cabin Fever Frenzy is a green-leaning teal jelly with ultra chrome flakies that reflect broze, gold, green, and blue as well as tons of blue mini flakies. This one is a very squishy jelly and it starts of sheer at first, but builds up nicely in 3 coats with just a slight VNL (mostly in brighter light). This is a lovely, aquatic color pairing and I'm sure it will be a favorite with many (I mean, who can refuse a great teal?).
Hare Polish is available from Nikole's Etsy Shop as well as from several other e-tailers around the world (complete list found here). Be sure to check out Hare's website, Instagram, and Facebook for updates on new collections and restock info
