Hi everyone! Today I have Darling Diva Polish's St. Patty's Limerick Collection to share with you! I'm obsessed with green, so obviously I was jumping up and down over a collection made up entirely of greens. This collection was officially released tonight in Darling Diva's shop, so go check them out if you are a green lover like me!
Ever Heard of a Naughty Wife From St. Paul? is a hunter green linear holo. Formula on this one was fantastic and it was completely opaque in 2 easy coats. The green is rich and deep with an amazing holo flame. So gorgeous!
On the White Cliffs of Dover Sat a Poet is a bright medium green with gold and color shifting flakies as well as holographic shimmer. Formula was smooth and easy on this one with complete coverage in 2 coats. I was very excited with this one as soon as I saw it and even more once I got it on my nails. I love bright happy greens like this SO much, and the gold and rainbow flakes really looked awesome against the base.
There Once Was a Man From Nantucket is a color shifting polish (the base shifts from gold/green/blue) with multichrome flakes. You can build this one up to opacity on its own or layer it over a dark base color. I chose to layer 2 coats over Ever Heard of a Naughty Wife From St. Paul? for this mani. The color shift is beautiful and strong in this polish and then when you add the flakes you have multichrome on multichrome. SUCH a cool polish!
A Newlywed Couple From Paris is a medium green holo with holographic shimmer and some blue/pink color shifting shimmer. Formula was great and had full coverage in 2 easy coats. Another happy green with so much shimmery goodness to add interest. It's definitely not your average holo!
In the Garden of Eden Sat Eve is a full coverage green and gold holographic microglitter. Formula was good on this one and it was a nice balance of density/spreadability. The density of it makes it possible to get full coverage in 2 coats if you are really careful, or you could be like me and use 3 thin coats for good measure (plus a good topcoat). I was so flipping excited for this one because it reminds me of one of my favorite Darling Diva Polishes of all time, Leprechaun's Gold (which has long been d/c). They aren't exactly the same though because the gold glitters in LG are larger than the green and they aren't holo. Also, ItGoESE has more gold in it, so it looks a bit warmer than LG. Anyway, if you don't have LG or if you do, you NEED this one. End of story. So much pretty glittery goodness!
All of these greens are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure about On The White Cliffs but I'd happily own the rest.
