Hi everyone! Today I have the gorgeous Valyrio Collection from Celestial Cosmetics to share with you. These beauties, which are Game of Thrones-inspired, consist of vivid jewel-toned holos and color shifting polishes. This collection was created with my pal Christine from Serenity Nails and she has done some research on the Valyrian language used in the show and each one of these polishes is named with a Valyrian word. Such a cool concept and the entire collection is so well done! These pretties were released a few months back but are all still available on the Celestial Cosmetics website.
Dracarys (Dragon-fire) is a slightly coppery red linear holo with added red microglitter. Formula was excellent and I got full coverage in 2 easy coats. This polish was love at first sight for me and I ended up wearing it for a few days. The addition of the microglitter is just perfection in this polish.
Kastamiro Damior (Rains of Castamere) has a deep, dark teal base filled with color shifting flake shimmer that shifts from green/blue/teal/purple. Formula was nice and easy to use and I got full coverage with 2 easy coats. The shift in this polish is very tonal and subtle but shows flashes of different colors and various angles (and is, of course, very difficult to capture in a photo).
Kirimvos (Thank-you) is an emerald green linear holo with blue/green/gold color shifting flakes. Beautiful formula and I used 2 coats for full coverage. The flakes in this one are FANTASTIC and it has quite a holo punch as well.
Daria Zaldrizoti (The Dragon Queen) is a red/pink/orange duochrome polish. Formula was nice and easy to use and used 2 coats for full coverage. This polish has a sunset feel to it and the color shift is fabulous in real life.
Lilagon (To dance) has a green base with on-tone color shift from green/gold/reddish-bronze. Great formula with full coverage in 2 easy coats. This one makes me think of dragon scales! Such a beauty for green lovers like me! The shift isn't super dramatic, but it just makes this polish glow.
Sesir Kipi (And now, we ride) is a bright blue linear holo with green flake shimmer. Formula was excellent and used 2 coats for full coverage. This is such a bright and happy blue that I don't feel I did justice in my photos. So much love for this polish!
Celestial Cosmetics are available from their website as well as from Color4Nails. It looks like the Valyrio Collection is mostly out of stock on the Color4Nails site (except for the beautiful Lilagon), but they are having a restock of some lovely new Celestial shades tomorrow and they have a variety of other Celestial shades available! I must say I'm very impressed my first time trying this brand and I look forward to adding some more to my collection! Thanks for looking everyone!
