Pahlish Hothouse Flowers Collection and July 2016 LEs

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have all of Pahlish's July offerings to share with you including the 8-piece Hothouse Flowers Collection as well as the LE Bohemian Rhapsody Duo and a LE charity polish called Jawsome (both the Duo and Jawsome are LEs for July). These beauties are all available now on the Pahlish website

Flame of the Forest is a rich amber jelly with a mix of holographic flakes, ultrachrome flakes, and glassfleck shimmers. Formula was easy to use and I used 2 coats for a nice, squishy finish. This polish totally screams fall to me, but I'm totally loving it! The all of the golden and copper flakes shine out of the base like fiery leaves!

Moth Orchid is a rich black cherry jelly with a mix of holographic flakes, ultrachrome flakes, and glassfleck shimmers. Formula was very similar to Flame of the Forest with good coverage in 2 coats. This is such a complex and amazing shade and I adore the colors swimming around in it. There are pops of red, gold, copper, and even an amazing blue glassfleck that pops amazingly against the reddish purple base.

Rum Runner Hibiscus is a violet-purple jelly with a mix of violet shimmers and ultrachrome flakes. Formula was very much like Flame of the Forest and Moth Orchid but maybe a tad squishier. I used 2 coats here, but I could have used 3 coats just for slightly more opacity/less VNL. This color combo is stunning and so amazing in real life (I feel like it just didn't pop as well in photos).

African Moon is a soft orchid pink cream with shimmering blue microflakes. Formula was nice to use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. I always love Pahlish's flecked cremes and this one is an absolutely fantastic shade! So girly and summery without being "in-your-face" bright.

Grass of the Dew is a soft turquoise cream with shimmering purple microflakes. Another easy to use formula and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This polish has a slightly dusty quality to it that I love and the purple flakes pop really well.

Balloon Flower is a lavender cream with shimmering gunmetal microflakes. Similar formula to African Dew and Grass of the Moon and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This one was my favorite of the 3 flecked cremes because I absolutely love the gunmetal flakes with this purple!

Blood Lily is an intense neon red jelly with gold and pink flakes and bright blue shimmer. Formula was easy to use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. HOLY CRAP. This might be my favorite because LOOK AT IT! It's so bright and the shimmer is to die for. Neon red, as you may know, does have an orangey/corally feel to it and that is totally my JAM!

Bromeliad is a fluorescent pink jelly with a mix of multicolored flakes and iridescent glitter. Very easy to use formula and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. The complexity of the base of this one really stole my heart. It's definitely not your average neon pink!

Next we have the limited edition July 2016 Duo inspired by one of the best songs ever, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. I was SO excited when I found out the theme of this duo and Shannon killed it!

Scaramouche is a deep violet-purple jelly. This is a squishy, syrupy jelly and I used 3 coats for full coverage. This is such the perfect base for the gorgeous, complex topper that goes with it!

Fandango is a clear-based topcoat with a mix of ultrachrome flakes, iridescent glitters, and shimmer. Formula was a cinch to use and I used 1 coat over Scaramouche. I just adore the bronze/gold flakes with the pops of blue from the iridescent glitter. This one is even more amazing in person.

Last, but not least, Pahlish is starting a series of monthly charity polishes and the first one will benefit the Ocean Conservancy. Jawsome will be sold only during the month of July and $2 from each bottle sold will go to Ocean Conservancy (http://www.oceanconservancy.org).

Jawsome is a rich taupe crelly with bright blue/violet shimmers. Formula was very nice to use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. The shimmer is anything but shy in this polish and it has such a gorgeous blue/purple shift! I Shannon paid perfect homage to her shark inspirations for this polish.
