Girly Bits Cosmetics August COTM: Dancing in the Moonlight and Sun Dog

Hi everyone! Today I have my very first Girly Bits Cosmetics Colors of the Month (COTM) to share with you! For August, Pam has chosen two amazing shades to feature and they look so fabulous together! The August COTM will be released as a 5 day pre-order starting on August 6th and running through the 10th on the Girly Bits Cosmetics website. There will be a second and final launch of these shades with limited quantities available on August 24th.

Dancing in the Moonlight is a saturated medium blue low-density holo with a pink flash and green shimmer. Formula was super nice to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage. The shimmer is AMAZING in this shade and was sort of lost against the blue in my photos. Such a lovely shade!

Sun Dog is a light golden copper shimmolo with bronze microflakes and copper shimmer. Fantastic formula with very easy 2 coat coverage. Pam's shimmolos are always fantastic because they have so much goodness going on and the shimmery/flake bits in this polish put it over the top!

Because I love blue and copper together, I could not resist doing a wee bit of nail art with these two. I used Dancing in Moonlight as my base and then used some Quatrefoil Nail Vinyls from KBShimmer on the middle two nails and sponged on a Sun Dog on the top half of he nail (I did it sort of as a gradient so it would softly taper off in the middle of the nail.) I finished off the look with a single dot of sun dog at the base of my other nails for a fun mix and match look.
