Lollipop Posse Lacquer No Part of the Dream World Duo and Winter is Closing In Trio

Hi everyone! Today I have two upcoming mini collections to share with you from Lollipop Posse Lacquer! Both the Valentine's Duo (No Part of the Dream World) and Winter Trio (Winter is Closing In) will be releasing this coming Sunday, January 31st at 4 PM EST in the Lollipop Posse Lacquer shop. These two sets have something for everyone with rich, saturated shades in the Valetine's Duo and pale, icy shades in the Winter Trio. Let's have a closer look at them and hear about Karen's inspirations for these sets!

No Part of the Dream World Duo for Valentine's 2016

"For Valentine 2016, we have No Part of the Dream World Duo. Inspired by the character of Desire from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" graphic novels, these two vampy shades encompass the darker side of devotion, desire, and love."

Love Belongs to Desire is a deep berry jelly filled with silver holo shards, purple holo microglitters, and holo microflakes. Formula is very easy to work with and builds up nicely to full, squishy coverage in 3 thin coats. Oh man...this polish is a dream! All of the sparks and flecks swimming in jelly...I just adore it!

Desire is Always Cruel is an inky blackened tealy-blue linear holo. Formula was superb with full coverage in 2 easy coats. This one is so dark it looks black most of the time but it has flashes of rich teal when the light hits is.

Winter is Closing In Trio for Winter 2016

"For Winter 2016, we have our Winter is Closing In Trio. These pale, metallic holographics were inspired by Joni Mitchell's winter classic "Urge For Going". You can listen to the song here and find the lyrics here. I really recommend that you take a listen if you don't know the song!"

Bolt My Wanderings In is a pale icy lavender linear holo with a metallic finish. Formula was lovely to work with and had full coverage in 2 coats. I love that all three of these polishes have a frozen/frost-like quality that really serves the wintry theme! This lavender is very muted, but it is definitely purple on the nail (I think some of my photos make it look slightly more washed out that it appears in real life).

But I Never Seem to Go is a pale icy blue linear holo with a metallic finish. This has an almost identical formula as Bolt My Wanderings In and is also opaque in 2 easy coats. A perfect icy shade!

The Meadow Grass is a pale nude linear holo with a slightly metallic finish. Formula is very nice and easily opaque in 2 coats. This is palest of pale nude shades and it's so flattering! This has to be my favorite from this trio!
