Hi everyone! Today I have KBShimmer's brand new Nauti by Nature Collection to share with you. Far from a typical Spring collection, this collection is inspired by a tropical spring break locale. There are juicy, bright holos, fun colorful crellies and jellies, and beautiful subtle shimmers which all perfectly represent an island escape. The Nauti by Nature Collection releases on March 18th in the KBShimmer shop (along with the Indie Shop limited editions that I already shared).
The Girl is Tiki is a rusty coral linear holo. Formula was easy peasy to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This shade is right up my alley and the holo is super intense. The polish was inspired by the brightly colored tropical drinks that are always found in tourist bars (I think of Plantar's Punch from my own Jamaican honeymoon).
Copa-Banana is a golden yellow linear holo. Formula was very nice and I thought it would require 3 coats for sure, but it reached opacity in 2 coats. What is more fun for a tropical vacay than an amazing yellow? This shade is beautiful and sunny.
Keep Palm and Carry On is a rich warm green linear holo. Formula was very nice and pigmented and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This one is obviously inspired by palm trees, and it nails the inspo perfectly.
Tropic Like It's Hot is vivid turquoise linear holo. Formula was amazing, and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This polish was inspired by the blue-green waters of the Caribbean, and it is just heavenly.
Latitude Adjustment is a deep periwinkle linear holo. Formula was great and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This polish was inspired by the beautiful sky at sunrise. This shade wanted to lean really blue in photos, but it does have that slight touch of purple to it.
Tempting Fete is a white crelly filled with multicolored glitters in gold, grape, pink, green, and orange including some micro slices. Formula was fantastic and the glitter load was great in this polish. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is such a classic KBShimmer, and I adore this twist on multicolored glitter/white crelly polish. This polish was inspired by the brightly colored costumes of street carnivals in the Bahamas.
Starfishing for Compliments is a pale taupe crelly filled with black, white, coral, and aqua matte glitters as well as a sprinkling of black and aqua matte star glitters. Formula had great glitter load and the stars came out easily without any fishing necessary. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage and 2 coats of topcoat for a glassy finish (to help even out the larger star glitters). This polish is so fun and summery! Christy made this polish in honor of the people who are kings/queens of vacation selfies.
Saved by the Shell is a soft sandy peach creme with coppery pink shimmer. Formula spread easily and had good coverage in 3 thin coats. This is such a beautiful, delicate shade and was inspired by conch shells.
Salt Water Sassy is a pale aqua crelly filled with yellow, coral, turquoise, white, and periwinkle matte glitters. This polish does have a thinner crelly base that is very squishy, and I used 3 coats for full coverage. This polish is so fun! I love the inspiration too...the gorgeous bright pastel painted homes that line the water in tropical locales.
Show Me The Mahi is a deep teal jelly base filled with holo glitters in lime and teal as well as color shifting iridescent glitters that shift from green to red-orange. Formula was easy to work with and had a great glitter load. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This polish is so squishy and fabulous! The glitters just sparkle and swim in the beautiful base. This polish was inspired by the deep waters of the Caribbean filled with beautiful fish.
This one is amazing with some Oh Matte! topcoat...
Got It Sandaled is a dusky lavender creme with pinky purple shimmer. Formula was nice to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage. The shimmer in this one is subtle, but beautiful when it hits the light. This polish was inspired by the sunset in the islands.
There is a new limited edition bath and body scent for the Spring release. This scent is fruity and tropical and will take you right through Spring and into Summer. Knotty Girl is described as a blend of sweet melon, raspberry nectar, Italian lemon, creamy coconut, and raw sugar cane with a hint of banana. I really get a kick of melon right off the bat and there are hints of lemon and coconut that peek through as well. The hint of banana is there too, but it's definitely subtle. It's right up my alley because I adore sweet fruity scents. This limited edition scent will be offered in Mani Shots, Sugar Scrub, Lotion, and Picture Perfect Cuticle Cream.
KBShimmer products are available from their website as well as from Harlow & Co. (Canada) and Color4Nails (United States) for international customers.
