Hi everyone! Today I have Scofflaw's brand new Winter 2016 Collection to share with you. This collection has some classic Scofflaw style polishes plus a Scofflaw spin on scattered holos which is a a pretty new finish for the brand. I really love that this collection has a mix of wintry shades as well as some brights, which are breath of fresh air this time of year. The release date is January 7th at 8 PM CST in the Scofflaw shop, so be sure to check them out!
Diamond Dogs - a rich sky blue with gold and bronze flecks/flakes and a delicate violet shimmer. Formula started out sheer, but built up nicely to opacity in 3 coats. I mean...can you get any more gorgeous than this gold/bronze against the blue base? And the shimmer adds another totally beautiful dimension to the polish.
An American Wookie in London - a cool dark brown creme with green shimmer that shifts to red. Formula was excellent and had excellent opacity in 2 coats. It was hard to catch the color shift in the shimmer on camera, but I tried some different lighting and you can see it a bit in my pics. It's much more obvious in real life and such a lovely color shift!
Love Letter to Loki- a black scattered holo with green flash. Formula was fantastic and it built up to opacity in 2 easy coats. The green flash is just fantastic and even stronger in real life than in photos. I told Finch that this polish name was just perfect because I think everyone, even if they don't want to admit it, is secretly a Loki fan.
Kitty Kitty Bang Bang - a soft coral with delicate blue shimmer highlights. Formula was very easy to work with and I got great opacity in 2 coats. This is a very soft and sophisticated polish and I adore the way the blue shimmer pops against the pinky coral base.
Road to Nowhere- a medium grey shimmer crelly with glitters of chartreuse, teal, green, and turquoise. Formula was great with spot on glitter density. I used 2 coats for full opacity. Per usual, Finch knows just how to add the right kind and amount of shimmer to her glitter polishes to make them pop!
Creature from the Glitter Lagoon - a dusty blue with tropical-hued glitters of various sizes (orange, turquoise, green). Another great glitter polish formula with full opacity in 2 coats. This is classic Scofflaw and I'm SO in love with the color combo here!
Fire Imp - a rich true red coral scattered holo with aqua-teal shimmer highlights. Formula was very nice to work with and I used 2 coats for full opacity. I mean...wow! This polish really packs a punch and the shimmery/holoy goodness is so pretty! The holo is very scattered and adds a nice depth and glow to the look, so that's what I mean by Scofflaw's twist on a holo polish.
Radioactive Mermaid - a minty-aqua creme with pink sparkles and pink/violet chrome flakes. Formula was excellent and I used 2 coats for full opacity. This one was a beast to capture on film (I suspect a neon pigment might be in play). It's a little deeper in real life than you see here, but just wow...it's totally my kind of shade!
Heavy Metal Sewing Circle - a wine scattered holo with bright golden-brass shimmer flash and highlights. Formula was really nice and I used 2 coats for full opacity. This was another favorite of mine because the contrasting shimmer is just DIVINE against the deep wine base and the holo element really makes it glowy.
Seagulls Screaming Kiss Her, Kiss Her - a greyed out periwinkle scattered holo with lavender shimmer highlights. Formula on this one started out sheer and built up nicely to opacity in 3 coats. The base of this is really greyed out and then has layers of gorgeous shimmery and holo which make it really stand out. I feel like it is one that has to be seen in real life to fully appreciate it.
