Hi everyone! Today I have a selection of polishes from CANVAS Lacquer's Broad City Collection. This collection has a little something for everyone in it with glitter, neon, creme, shimmer, and holo finishes. I have 3 of the 5 polishes from this collection to share with you today (you can see swatches of the other two over at Very Emily), and these are available now in the CANVAS Lacquer shop.
Yasss Queen is a neon berry jelly that dries to a satin finish. Formula was very nice to work with and I got 3 thin coats for full coverage plus I used a shiny topcoat to finish it off. This one gave my camera fits, but it is more cool in real life than my pics show and a smidge brighter.
Val About Town is a peachy coral creme with golden shimmer. Formula was also very nice to work with and I got full coverage in 3 thin coats. The shimmer is subtle, but really gorgeous and gives this one a soft and lovely finish.
Kirk Steele is a bright blue jelly filled with holographic blue glitter and silver microshimmer. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage on this one. It dries a little gritty, so I used 2 coats of a thicker topcoat to smooth it out. This is such a lovely, vivid blue and the glitters are stunning! I think the almost neon nature of the blue base made the glitters look a little flat in photos, but the really sparkle in person.
