Zoya Ignite Collection Swatch and Review

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have swatches of the gorgeous new Zoya Ignite Collection for Fall 2014. This collection consists of six shimmering fall hues with a flecked metallic finish which Zoya calls a liquid metal finish. Let's have a look at these beauties!

Zoya-Ignite

India (2 coats) is described as a deep red gold liquid metal. There are also some purple flecks throughout the polish that are beautiful when the light hits them just right (you can see them more in the macro shot). This is vampy perfection for fall!

Remy (2 coats) is described as an indigo with copper and gold liquid metal. The copper and gold shimmer in Remy give it a greenish cast in certain lights, but it was really tough to catch that nuance on camera. This was one of my favorites in the collection!

Teigen (2 coats) is described as a violet plum with copper liquid metal. The coppery flecks really popped against the base so well in this polish. It makes me fondly think of one of my favorite Zoya Collections from the past, the Sunshine Collection from Summer 2011. Teigen seems like a deeper, more autumnal version of one of my favorites from that collection, Reva.

Sansa (2 coats) is described as a deep eggplant with gold liquid metal. Oh man, this polish has so much depth! It is the darkest of dark purples and the shimmer is absolutely amazing against that dark base. I feel like this one is so much better in person. Another favorite for me!

Autumn (2 coats) is described as a varnished copper liquid metal. This is the most metallic of all of the polishes and it is definitely named appropriately because it is autumn in a bottle. While it isn't a color I would typically reach for, I was surprised that it did not look terrible with my skintone. This has me craving pumpkin-spiced things...

Yuna (2 coats) is described as a grey with copper and gold liquid metal. The formula was a bit different with this polish than the others as the base was more creamy. This was a surprise favorite for me as I'm not usually drawn to greys. The combination of the warm shimmers against the grey base made it really fantastic.

Formula was consistently nice with all of these polishes. They spread easily and were the right consistency to avoid cuticle flooding and such, which is pretty essential for polishes like this (to me) because if you have to do clean-up with them, the little metallic flecks get everywhere! Zoya's brush is also one of my favorite brushes to work with and it really helps with precise application. The opacity was great and some of them could have been careful 1-coaters, but I thought they all looked best with 2 coats.

Overall, Zoya's Ignite Collection is fantastic and completely embodies fall. I've really been craving rich and cozy colors, so these really hit the spot. These polishes are now available for pre-order on Zoya's website (they retail for $9 each), and they will soon be available where Zoya is sold in your area (I always find them at Ulta locally).

Will you be picking up any of these? What are your favorites? Thanks for looking everyone!
