Hi everyone! Tonight I have Great Lakes Lacquer's Sunset Dissected Collection. This collection was inspired by all of the phases of a glorious sunset. I must say that creator Mariah really curated this collection perfectly and each one of these is so well done! The Sunset Dissected Collection (along with the March Limited Editions which I posted about earlier this week) are available now in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop.
Disappearing Daylight is a dusty periwinkle with bronze and gold flake shimmer. This had a lovely formula that reached full opacity in 2 easy coats. This is an elegant polish that I think everyone will love! The shimmer is subtle, but the perfect finishing touch.
Lavender Light is a medium lavender with shifting pink to gold glass fleck. Formula was started off a little sheer, but built up nicely in 3 thin coats. This one gave me nightmares when I was trying to photograph it, but I tried my best to color adjust it to as close to accurate as possible. It wanted to photograph more blue than it is in real life. It's so sweet and lovely!
Sailor's Delight is a squishy red-orange jelly filled with on tone shimmer. Formula built up beautifully with 3 thin coats. This polish is so glowy and perfect! It has enough orange to satisfied orange lovers (like me!) and enough redness to even entice orange haters!
The Last Remaining Light is a medium blurple with pink shifting shimmer and scattered holo. Formula was excellent and I used 2 coats for full coverage. Such a stunner! All of the blurple lovers out there will definitely want to snap this one up!
The Last Sliver of Sun is a pale, buttery yellow crelly filled with ultrachrome flakies and red pearl shimmer. Formula was superb and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage (though I really could have gotten away with two). OMG...THIS POLISH! This is such a winner all around and one of my absolute favorites from the collection!
Washed in Magenta is a deep red-violet with tons of blue/purple color shifting shimmer. Formula builds up to opacity nicely in 3 thin coats. This polish is SO stunning and photos truly don't do it justice. It's packed with so much shimmer and it looks really bright magenta in some lights and really blue/purple in others (my photos show more of the blue/purple side).
Great Lakes Lacquer is available from their Etsy shop. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram so you can keep up to date on release info. Thanks for looking everyone!
