Pahlish Patisserie de Pahlish Collection

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry to be so behind showing these to you guys, but it's been a rough few weeks for me. I wrecked my car and I've been dealing with all sorts of issues with that (borrowed car with battery issues, rental car, etc) plus work has really been kicking my butt so I just haven't had the energy to blog much. MY GOAL is to get myself together this weekend, so we shall see how that goes! I'm working really hard on blogging more consistently for you guys, but life has just been getting in the way a lot. I know everyone goes through these things sometimes, so please just bear with me!

Today I have Pahlish's latest collection to share with you called the Patisserie de Pahlish Collection. This is a collection of 5 beautiful scrumptious cremes with 2 flakie/shimmer toppers that you can use to mix and match! Nail polish plus macarons...I'm there! The Patisserie de Pahlish Collection will be restocked tomorrow night (Sunday) at 7 PM CST in the Pahlish shop along with a spring cleaning sale with all sorts of shop discounts, so be sure to check it out! You may be able to nab some past Pahlishes that you missed out on!

First I'm going to show you the two toppers because I'm going to be featuring them with each creme so you can see how they coordinate.

Guimauve a la Framboise - topper with a mix of copper flakes with rosy glassfleck shimmer and red ultrachrome flakes. Formula was very nice to use with a good coverage in 1 coat over a base shade, but you could use 2 for a more dense look if you wanted to. This one was my favorite of the two toppers! I adore the copper/rosy tones and I thought they looks fabulous over these cremes!

(1 coat over Griotte Amande)

Guimauve a la Violette - topper with a mix of silver and purple flakes with purple glassfleck shimmer and purple ultrachrome flakes. This one seemed a little less dense than Guimauve a la Framboise, so I preferred it at 2 coats over my base shade. This is, of course, the cooler toned topper of the two and it was amazing to me how it could even pull the base shades to the cooler side when it was layered over them.

(2 coats over Petale de Rose)

And now here are the 5 cremes. Formulas for these were easy to work with, but I found them to be slightly on the thinner side, so I preferred most of the with 3 thin coats. For each of these, I showed a close-up of both of the toppers over each creme so you can see how they look over each. I definitely have preferences with which topper I like with which creme, but really they all work!

Pistache is a warm pistachio creme (3 thin coats). The full sized swatch is definitely more color accurate (sometimes adding the toppers would throw off the base color when I took photos). This one has some warm, olive-y tones to it but I can definitely get that pistachio feel. I really thought that the warm tones of Guimauve a la Framboise were perfect with this shade.

Menthe Glaciale is a rich glacier blue creme (3 thin coats). Such a lovely blue that has a hint of murkiness to it which makes it unique. I really thought both of the toppers were perfection with this!

Griotte Amande is a soft marsala red creme (2 coats). This one was the most opaque to me so I easily got away with 2 coats. I would call this one a reddish brown shade that made for a seriously gorgeous and unique neutral shade. The combo with Guimauve a la Framboise has my heart! It's seriously stunning! Surprisingly, Guimauve a la Violette looks amazing with this one as well and I never would have thought they would go together.

Cassis Violette is a  violet-greige creme (3 thin coats). Simply gorgeous neutral that has just a hint of a warm purple undertone. This creme shade was absolutely perfect for both toppers and they each totally transformed the look of it.

Petale de Rose is a soft orchid pink creme (3 thin coats). This polish was an enigma because it sometimes looked more bright and sometimes more muted, just depending on the light or with the addition of the toppers. It's such a happy pink and I adore the combo with Guimauve a la Violette.
