Hi everyone! Today I have a brand new mini-collection from Scofflaw Nail Varnish to share with you! The Tiki Collection is inspired by classic Tiki drinks and also includes a limited edition polish that was inspired by Finch's favorite drink, the Hemingway Daiquiri. These are all classic Scofflaw goodness, so you will want to pick them up if you are a glittery crelly fan! The Tiki Collection will be available in the Scofflaw Shop on May 19th at 7 PM CDT.
Flamingo Fizz is a dusty tropical pink crelly filled with sand, peach, and neon coral glitters and a soft shimmering finish. Formula had a nice glitter density and spread smoothly and easily. I used 3 thin coats for opacity and 2 coats of topcoat for a smooth finish. This makes me think of a tropical smoothie! It's very soft and lovely!
Suffering Bastard is a bright violet crelly filled with turquoise, sea green, berry, and periwinkle glitters and a soft shimmering finish. The glitter load was nice and the formula spread nice and evenly. Formula was a more squishy jellyish type of crelly and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage (and 2 coats of topcoat for a smooth finish). This polish has loads of depth! Just look at all of the different glitters peeking through the vivid base!
Deep Sea Diver is a bright sea green crelly filled with violet, lavender, dark green, sand, and blue glitters with a soft shimmering finish. Glitter load was great and it spread and distributed easily on the nail. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage, but this one could have probably been fine at 2 coats because it was a little more on the opaque side. Like the previous glitters, I used 2 coats of topcoat for a glassy smooth finish. This polish is heaven! I love the color scheme so much and the hint of background microflake shimmer really pulls it together.
Cobra's Kiss is a light grey crelly filled with berry, frosty blue, sky blue, and orange glitters. This one starts out sheer and squishy, but builds up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats (plus 2 coats of topcoat for a smooth finish). It is very glitter dense, but still easy to spread and get even glitter coverage. This is such a fun and unexpected mishmash of glitter shades, and it works surprisingly well! Finch is the master of unconventional glitter mixes.
Blue Zombie is a bright cerulean blue crelly filled with glitters of sea blue, red, green, brown, and various shade of yellow. Formula was nice and easy to use with a great glitter load. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage (plus 2 coats of topcoat for a smooth finish). This is my absolute favorite of the collection! It's such a happy shade of blue and the glitter mix just speaks to me. So SO pretty!
Moonkist Coconut is a warm sandy-cream crelly with golden-brown flakes and blue shimmer. Formula was nice and easy to use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is such a beautiful and delicate shade! The blue shimmer is a gorgeous touch to this dainty neutral.
Love Letter to Hemingway (Limited Edition) is a pale lemon-lime green crelly with rose gold and red shimmering flakes. Formula was very nice and use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is another beautiful and delicate shade! The red/rose gold shimmer is just divine! This will be available in limited numbers at the launch, so be there on time to grab your bottle if you want one!
