Hi everyone! Today I have a gorgeous duo from Firecracker Lacquer and Baroness X celebrating one of my favorite Disney villains: Maleficent! I think these ladies did a beautiful job capturing Maleficent's spirit in these polisehes and they will surely please all of the Disney fans out there! These are super limited (30 duos total, 15 in each shop) so don't waste time grabbing one for yourself!
Tragedy of a Faerie is Baroness X's contribution to the duo and it is a charcoal grey linear holo with strong green/purple shifting shimmer, holo microglitter, and scattered green iridescent flakies. Formula was excellent and I used 2 coats for full coverage. OMG...the shimmer in this polish is insane (and even better in real life)! I feel like this polish captures the darkness of Maleficent with the green peeking out and revealing the dragon within her!
Dragons Are a Girl's Best Friend is Firecracker Lacquer's contribution to the duo and it is a deep, purple metallic shimmer with matte lime green glitters and holo microglitters. Formula was very easy to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage (plus topcoat for a glassy smooth finish). I sometimes don't like glitters in shimmery bases, but in this case it totally works! This color palette is perfect for Maleficent too! Also, the purple shimmer is so much more glowy and wonderful in real life!
The Maleficent Duo is limited to 30 sets total (15 sets in the Baroness X shop and 15 sets in the Firecracker Lacquer shop) and will be available tonight at 8 PM EST, so grab them while you can! The set will sell for $22 each plus $3 shipping. Thanks for looking everyone!
