Hi everyone! Today I have Pahlish's brand new There is a Song Collection to share with you! As I mentioned last week when I posted last week's Bespoke Batches, the entire February line-up is inspired by River Song, and this collection really embodies her time on Doctor Who, covering her most iconic lines and moments on the show. The There is a Song Collection launches tonight at 7 PM CST in the Pahlish shop.
Melody Malone is a greyish purple creme filled with fine pink/gold shimmer. Formula was super nice to work with and I got full coverage in 2 coats. This is such a ladylike shade and I adore the touch of grey to make it wearable for everyone! Even though this isn't a super flashy polish, it was one of my favorites!
Impossible Astronaut is a subtle tan greige with silver microshimmer and a teensy touch of holo. Formula spread smoothly and easily and I used 2 coat for full coverage here. This is such a flattering nude and the shimmer gives it that something extra special! I got several compliments on this shade when I wore it to work!
Singing Towers is a deep brown jelly filled with red and copper ultrachrome flakes and holo microflakes. Formula goes on smoothly and easily and I used three thin coats for full coverage. OMG...this polish is amazeballs! The depth of it...mmmmm! This is essentially a brown version of Little Rebel Droid, so be sure to pick it up if you were a fan of that crowd favorite!
Spoilers is a deep oxblood red jelly with white iridescent flakes. This one was on the thicker side for me, but still not bad to work with. I ended up using 3 thin coats for full coverage, though it would work at 2 coats for a squishier coverage. I love the depth of it and it so cool matte too (I've seen a few other bloggers matting it...give it a try!).
Hello Sweetie is a lilac jelly with silver flakes and violet-blue shimmer. Formula was very nice with this one and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. It's SUCH a soft and pretty shade and I love the silver pops against the soft lilac base. Also...the shimmer adds a nice touch even though it was a bit camera shy.
Stormcage is a blackened violet jelly with silver, blue, violet, and pink flakes. Formula was very nice to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage (though you could get away with 2 coats for a more squishy look). The colored flakes really pop when you move your fingers around and they catch the light...SUCH a pretty touch!
Pahlish is available from Pahlish's Big Cartel Shop. Be sure to follow Pahlish on Facebook and Instagram for details about restocks (they are Sundays at 7 pm CST) and new polishes. Thanks for looking everyone!
