Hi everyone! Today I have the second installment of Lemming Lacquer's You Are What You Worship Collection. This collection is inspired by the show American Gods (see the part 1 of the collection where I posted here). The palette of these shades is also perfect for the holiday season (in my opinion), so it is releasing at the perfect time! Part 2 of the You Are What You Worship Collection will release in the Lemming Lacquer shop on December 15th at 7 PM Central.
Death Is Not A Debate is a black scattered holo with gold flash, gold shimmer and gold microglitters. Formula was smooth and easy to apply and I used 2 coats for full coverage. I just adore the glowiness that all of the gold gives to this black polish and makes it look really rich and luxe. This polish was inspired by Mr. Jacquel.
A Story To Tell is a deep blue scattered holo with green flash, bright blue holo microglitter and silver holo microglitter. Formula was lovely and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is a polish that was ok in the bottle, but really wowed me once I got it on my nails (and then promptly applied it to my toes!) The shimmery green flash is elegant and lovely! This polish was inspired by Mr. Ibis.
Worship Me is a deep red holo with red flake shimmer and red flash. Formula was nice and easy to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage. Talk about a jewel of a shade! This is a must for red lovers (I mean who can resist a glowy red?)! This polish was inspired by Bilquis.
I'm Not Your Enemy is a camo green crelly with antique silver, white, and black flakes and scattered holo. Formula was easy to apply and I used 2 coats for full coverage. I love this dirty green shade! It has lots of gorgeous flakes that give it interest too! Also, since I'm in Christmas mode, it looks a little Grichy too, eh? This polish was inspired by Mr. World.
Mass Delusions Are As Old As I Am is a pale blue crelly with pink, gold, orange, and copper shimmers, gold/orange/red color shifting metallic flakes and gold holo microglitters. The formula on this was was slightly thick for me (fixed easily with a few drops of thinner), but Cassie said she would adjust this prior to the release. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. There is so much pretty going on in this shade! I feel like I failed miserably at catching the flash of the shimmer, but it is just lovely in real life. This polish was inspired by the appearances of Media assuming the form of four iconic celebrities.
One Click and You're Overwritten is a clear-based topper with platinum silver and black flakes, as well as gunmetal and silver holo micro flakes as well as black holo microglitters and white shimmers with added holographic pigment. I used it here as a topper over Death is Not a Debate, but it would be amazing over literally any shade out there. It's instant bling for any mani! This polish was inspired by Technical Boy.
Every Bullet Is A Prayer In My Name is a gray jelly base smoldering with gold, orange, and red shifting shimmer and microflakes. Formula was nice and easy to apply and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This polish is a showstopper on the nails! It is just glowy and fiery from within and all of that pops beautifully against the grey base. This polish was inspired by Vulcan.
