Hi everyone! Tonight I have KBShimmer's offering for April's Polish Pickup for you to check out. The theme for April is "Across the Universe: Planets & Galaxies" so makers used intergalactic inspiration for their polishes. Christy's April shade pays homage to the super famous Hubble space telescope and is inspired specifically by this view of Jupiter through the Hubble telescope. April's Polish Pickup will start on April 6th and will run until April 9th.
KBShimmer Hubble'd Together has a teal-leaning mint jelly base filled with holographic micro flakes, color-shifting unicorn flakes featuring bright green glow in the dark power. Formula was very smooth and easy to apply and it built up nicely to a squishy jelly finish in 3 thin coats. You could still see a bit of VNL at 3 coats (which I do not personally mind) but you could also layer it over a complimentary shade if you so desired or you could layer 1 coat over black for a really cool alternative spacey look. OMG the squishy jelly depth of this polish is mesmerizing! I adore the mix of holo and iridescent unicorn flakes going on here. The glow in the dark aspect is very nice, and of course is enhanced if you "charge" it under a light source before you are in the dark.
Polish Pickup is an interactive shopping experience where a theme is voted on by the Polish Pickup Pack group and a selection of makers will make polishes inspired by that theme. All of their polishes will be available to purchase from the Polish Pickup shop and you can pick and choose which polishes to purchase (there is no box commitment) and just pay one $3 flat shipping fee. The Polish Pickup shop is live the first Friday of each month at 11 AM EDT. It stays open for four days, until the following Monday at Midnight EDT. There will be a 2-3 week TAT after the polishes are purchased.
KBShimmer products are available from their website as well as from Harlow & Co. (Canada) and Color4Nails (United States) for international customers. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram for updates on new collections and to see swatches of all of their polishes. Thanks for looking everyone!
