My Top Indies of 2014

*Some items in this post were provided for review*

Hi everyone! I'm sorry for not doing my "favorites" posts earlier, but I finally have the time to get them together this weekend. My indie post is going to be quite extensive since I'm largely an indie blogger, but in order to keep this list as short as possible, I trying to limit myself to only two polishes from my favorite brands (and I mostly did ok with that). I was aiming for 25, but you got 26 (and considering the amount of indies I have, that's pretty good narrowing down for me). So here they are in no particular order!

Smitten Polish has really been killing it this year! It pained me to pick only two for this list, but these guys have to be my favorites. Other honorable mentions include: Fire Burn, Radiant Orchid, Safety Dance, Nuclear Sunshine, This is My Tiara, and Seasonal Lattes.

Ellagee is a new brand for my this year, and See How S-s-snakelike I Can Be (shown over American Apparel Berry) was one of the beauties that drew me to the brand.

Indigo Bananas consistently impresses me with their unique use of pigments/glitters. These two polishes are excellent examples of that genius and are my favorites from them this year (some other awesome picks are Bridal Veil and pretty much the entire rest of the Summer Rains Collection).

Indigo Bananas Hole in the Sky

Candy Lacquer Christmas Donner is a super gorgeous glitter (the entire Magical Reindeer Collection looks fab, actually!)

Darling Diva Polish also killed it this year. Amazing collection after amazing collection has been released, but these two have completely stolen my heart. These two are up there with not only the best of the year, but the best ever.

Darling Diva Polish The Alchemist

Unfortunately, there are a few A Box, Indied exclusive polishes on my list this year that are no longer available, but they do pop up occasionally on Storenvy. Hare Polish The Blooming Desert is just over the top amazing.

CrowsToes Candied Brains Anyone? is another gorgeous A Box, Indied exclusive that I couldn't leave off my list. It's just a party in a bottle.

It's no secret that Pahlish is one of my absolute favorite brands (in fact, I recently discovered that I have more Pahlish than any other indie brand and my Pahlish drawer is now completely overflowing into another drawer). Pahlish has made some fabulous things this year, including a whole slew of super limited edition Bespoke Batches (I didn't include any of those out of kindness, but Say Something was definitely my fav). The flecked cremes and jellies are my weakness with Pahlish, and these two captured my heart this year.

Pahlish La Bijou du Roi

I also had to pick a favorite Pahlish Monthly Duo (and it was a tough pick this time) but March still has my heart.

Literary Lacquers has quickly become a must have brand for me and I've acquired quite a few of them recently. There are several that I adore, but Strong Steady Hand has to be my favorite. I just adore the holos with the added holo glitter!

KBShimmer is another brand that has been amazing this year! Not only are they putting out their traditional crellys/jellies with glitter, but they have also branched out into cremes, holos, and textures this year. Somehow, out of all the flash, a simple greige creme has completely captured my heart (as well as a gorgeous jelly glitter).

Chaos & Crocodiles is another brand that has really diversified their range of polishes this year. Sarey has always been known for her glitters, but this year one of her gorgeous shimmers and one of the super holo polishes from the Secret Agent Collection have my top votes.

Chaos & Crocodiles Subterfuge

Elevation Polish has continued to make amazing, elegant polishes this year and I have 2 of my favorites here (plus a bonus extra since it is a small batch prototype and not part of the core line). Only Elevation Polish could get me so excited for a holo topcoat (PS: It looks good over everything!)

Elevation Polish SBP: Red Sea

Elevation Polish Arabian Sea 2 (Llarowe Exclusive)

Elevation Polish Aguja St Exupery (over OPI Skull & Glossbones)

Elevation Polish Aguja St. Exupery (over Illamasqua Collide)

CrowsToes had a bunch of awesome polishes this year, but the 9 Realms Collection was for sure the most epic release. I guess that I technically have 3 CrowsToes on here counting the A Box, Indied polish (and I could easily have more), but I had to mention these beauties. Also, Huginn & Muninn.

CrowsToes Bifrost (over black)

CrowsToes Jotunheim

Girly Bits had very pretty polishes this year (including some amazing A Box, Indied contributions), but Get Weaponized is my absolute favorite. It is probably my favorite Girly Bits ever!

Dance Legend continually wows me with their polishes. Their liberal use of holo shards in their polish lines keeps me with a perpetually long Dance Legend wish list. These two beauties are my favorites from this year, but there are tons more gorgeous ones.

So there ya have it! My top indies of the year! What do you think about these? Any of these on your list? Thanks for looking everyone!
