Great Lakes Lacquer Cyber Monday Releases: December Duo and Lavish Orange

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Tonight I have some of Great Lakes Lacquer's Cyber Monday releases to share with you! Along with the December Duo (which is Star Wars themed!), Mariah is going to be releasing a few single pour shades in the shop that will be very limited in number, and I have one of those to show you as well. All of the Cyber Monday festivities will kick off in the Great Lakes Lacquer shop tomorrow at 2 PM EST.

Lavish Orange (single batch pour) is a burnt orange holo with scattered multichrome flakes. Formula was superb and has full coverage in 2 easy coats. I have joked with Mariah about her rocky relationship with orange since it is one of my favorite nail polish shades, and I'm really proud of her for coming up with a very wearable orange for orange lovers/haters alike. It has a lot of red undertones, so I think everyone will love it!

December Duo: These Are the Polishes You are Looking For
As a homage to my Star Wars loving family, I had to do a nod to the new release this month.  I always loved Obi Won and all the cool things he could do, include the Jedi mind trick.  Hopefully, these polishes remind you of those droids that the storm troopers were not looking for.  No fishing or dobbing needed for either of these.
Droid 1 is a gold holo glitter topper filled with multiple sizes of gold holo glitter. Formula had excellent glitter density and I got great coverage with one coat over my base color (Girly Bits Blue Christmas). This is an obvious homage to C-3PO and it's totally perfect for him! Even if you aren't a Star Wars fan, you can surely appreciate how lovely this would look over red or green for Christmas!

Droid 2 is a clear-based glitter topper filled with black and white glitter including shreds, dots, and triangles as well as navy holo hexes, silver shimmer. For this mani I used 1 coat with just a titch of extra dabbing (I didn't think I needed 2 full coats) over my base shade, Pretty & Polished Weather the Storm. Formula was really easy to work with and the glitters came out of the bottle easy and spread well. This totally looks like R2-D2 blended up in a bottle! He was my favorite, so I'm so loving this polish!

Great Lakes Lacquer is available from their Etsy shop. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram so you can keep up to date on release info. Thanks for looking everyone!
