Great Lakes Lacquer Hella Holo Customs January 2018

Hi everyone! Today I have Great Lakes Lacquer's Hella Holo Customs for January 2018 to share with you! These polishes are available through the Hella Holo Customs Facebook group (click to join and get further purchasing details). The pretties will release on January 14th (tomorrow) and will be available through the end of January. Mariah had some stunning inspiration photos this month, so let's see how she transformed them into polish! 

The Rush Of Brightness is a bright, cobalt blue teaming with iridescent shifting flake and shimmer that shiffts from orangey copper/gold/green with added scattered holo. The polish is packed with flakes, but it was very easy to apply and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. I mean...dang. Mariah just absolutely KILLED IT with this polish! It's like all of my dream components of a polish all packed into one. It's so flashy and amazing...a definite must have!

Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of is a light icy blue linear holographic enriched with shifting shimmer that hits pink, orange, and gold. Formula started off sheer, but built up beautifully to full coverage in 3 thin coats. Holy shimmer Batman! This polish comes to life on the nail! The flashing shimmer is MUCH better in real life (and you can see it better in the macro). Such a unique shade and so beautifully done!

From Darkness Comes Light is a green-leaning teal linear holographic with gold to bronze multichrome flake and shimmer that shifts from blue to purple. Formula was fantastic and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage (but could have stopped at 2, easily). One of my favorite components of this shade is the blue/purple shimmer. It really makes it come alive! Just look at how perfectly it matches that inspo picture too!

So Sweet And So Cold is a light lilac based linear holographic with added holo micro flakes and with blue, purple, aqua, and green shimmer. Formula was excellent and built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. I feel like photos don't begin to show the shimmer in this shade justice, but it's lovely and complex. I'm a sucker for those holo flakes too, and that are fantastic in this polish.
