Pahlish Harry Potter Polishes

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have some brand new Pahlishes to share with you...all Harry Potter themed! Instead of one giant collection, Shannon has these all split up into mini collections that correspond to iconic Harry Potter themes. Also included in this post is the November Duo, some Bespoke Batches, and some polishes that will be available only as a gift with purchase throughout this pre-order. All of these glorious Harry Potter polishes are available now for pre-order in the Pahlish shop until Monday at 11:59 PM CST.

November Duo – Diagon Alley

The Leaky Cauldron is a raisin cream. Formula was very nice to use and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This is a gorgeous Fall/Winter shade and looks amazing with the topper!

Gringott's is a clear-based topcoat with a mix of glitters in berry, wine, copper, and olive green with green/purple shimmer and gold/melon dots. Formula is lovely with a great glitter load and I used 1 coat over The Leaky Cauldron for this mani. How gorgeous is this? It looks like a decorated Christmas tree!

Deathly Hallows Trio

Elder Wand is a dark brown jelly with bright blue shimmer with a purple flash. Formula was very easy to use and built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. The purple flash in this one is subtle in some lights, but pops at certain angles.

Invisibility Cloak is a soft lavender-silver holographic with holographic flakes, platinum shimmer, and purple flakes. Formula was easy peasy to use and I used 2 coats for full coverage (in the macro shot you can see a bit of nail through, but in real life you could not). The purple flash in this one is so gorgeous and hard to capture in photos but is amazing in real life. Do note that the blue that you see in the photos is the reflection of my camera since this one is super reflective.

Resurrection Stone is a sheer black jelly with teal to pink duochrome shimmer. Formula was very nice to use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. You can clearly see the gorgeous color shift here and it is just as lovely in real life.

The Sorting Hat

Gryffindor is a scarlet red jelly with a mix of gold and rose gold flakes. This one is packed with flakes, but the formula is very easy to use (I used 2 coats here for full coverage). This is such a complex and gorgeous red (I don't think photos fully show her beauty).

Slytherin is an Emerald green jelly with a mix of platinum and silver holographic flakes. Formula was very pigmented and easy to use (I used 2 coats here for full coverage). This is such a rich and beautiful green and I can see myself reaching for it often during the holidays.

Ravenclaw is a deep indigo blue jelly with gold and bronze flakes. Formula was very nice to use and super pigmented, so I used 2 coats for full coverage. This is so inky and dark that it almost looks black in some lights, but it is definitely blue. Just look at those flakes pop!

Hufflepuff  is a bright marigold yellow jelly with a mix of charcoal and ultrachrome flakes. Formula was very easy to use and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is so unique and I just love a good yellow! It made me so happy to wear it!

Fantastic Beasts Trio

Hungarian Horntail is a scarlet red pearl. Formula was super nice to use and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This is classic red shimmer that is super sexy! The pearly shimmer is elegant and not brushstrokey at all.

Short-Snout is an indigo blue cream with red pearl shimmer. Formula was very easy to use and I used 2 coats for full coverage. The red shimmer gave this polish an overall purple/blurple tone and like Hungarian Horntail is very elegant to wear. In photos it shows a few brushstrokes, but these weren't really all that apparent in real life (and I'm not one that likes brushstrokes).

Opaleye is a soft lilac cream with subtle violet pearl shimmer. This one gave me a few problems with application since it didn't want to self-level all that well, but in the end it looked pretty good once I topcoated it. I used 3 thin coats for full coverage here. The shimmer is subtle even in the bottle, so it really serves to give this polish a tad more depth than a creme.

The Wizarding World – Bespoke Batches

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes is a bright coral-pink holographic with metallic red shimmer. The formula on this one is just right and I used 2 coats for full coverage. This is such a stunning bright coral! I love the pops of metallic shimmer throughout!

Lestrange is a dark plum linear holographic with blue shimmer. Formula was very nice to work with and I used 2 coats for full coverage. The blue shimmer is very prominent here and adds depth and interest to the purple shade.

Wingardium Leviosa is a bright blue linear holographic. Formula was great and I used 2 coats for full coverage. Photos really do not do this polish justice...it is SO BRIGHT! I'm totally in love with this blue raspberry shade!

Gift with Purchase – Black Friday Exclusives

Dumbledore's Army (free with $50 purchase) is a turquoise jelly with holographic flakes and blue ultrachrome flakes. This one has a great formula and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. I was drawn to this polish immediately when I got the package because I just love the pops of the ultrachrome flakes here! It's so gorgeous!

The Boy Who Lived (free with $75 purchase) is a purple jelly with a mix of ultrachrome flakes and holographic flakes. Formula was filled with flakes but still easy to work with and I used 3 thin coats here for full coverage. This polish is so amazing and photos can't even do it justice. The ultrachrome flakes just glow from within!
