Hi everyone! Today I have Scofflaw's Fall 2017 Collection to share with you! As usual, Finch as created some uniquely beautiful polishes with quirky inspiration in classic Scofflaw style. These beauties launch tomorrow (September 15th) at 7 PM Central time in the Scofflaw shop.
Surgeon General’s Warning is a pale yellow crelly with brown, red, white, and neon coral glitters plus subtle shimmer. Formula was very easy to use. It had a nice glitter load that was easy to spread. I was shocked that it had such easy 2 coat coverage (I expected to need 3 with a yellow) and I used 1 coat of a thicker topcoat plus my regular topcoat for a smooth finish. This is such a funky shade and I love it!
Fist Full Of Foxes is a creamy-tan crelly base with glitters of copper, ice blue, and peach as well as golden shimmer. Formula again had a good glitter load and spread easily. I used 3 thin coats plus 2 coats of topcoat (1 thicker, 1 regular qdtc) for a smooth finish. I adore the fiery copper glitters that gleam out of this otherwise neutral base.
Gordon Cole's Blue Rose is a cornflower blue creme with bright blue shimmer highlights and grey flecks. Formula was very nice to use and I had easy coverage in 3 thin coats (though 2 regular coats would have worked fine too). The shimmer in this polish is spectacular! So much better in person! They grey flecks are my favorite part though...they add that little something extra to make it totally Scofflaw.
A Run-By Fruiting is a rich purple creme with purple, silver and gunmetal shimmer and flakes. Formula was very nice to work with and I used 2 easy coats for full coverage. The inspiration for this polish made me laugh...Mrs. Doubtfire will forever be a favorite! This polish is very sophisticated and has a lot going on without being too crazy for a more conservative polish lover.
Conversations With Inanimate Objects is a robin-egg blue crelly with brown, grey, and lavender glitters as well as a delicate blue shimmer. Formula-wise, I found this one to be more glitter heavy but I still didn't have trouble with application (I just used thinner coats/less polish on my brush for each coat). I used 3 thin coats here for full coverage plus my topcoat duo (1 coat of thicker topcoat and one coat of regular QDTC) for a smooth finish. Leave it to Finch to make a fall polish that almost reminds me of spring! I think the more neutral tone of the blue and glitters (vs bright pastel) help bring it more into the fall realm.
Sansa Get Your Gun is a dusty, faded pink crelly with grey, black, white, gunmetal, and rose glitters as well as delicate shimmer. Formula was nice to use and it started out a bit sheer, but built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats (plus my topcoat combo for a smooth finish). I adore the inspo for this polish as well since Sansa really came into her own this season on GoT! The delicate pink shade is super flattering and it makes for a feminine shade that isn't overtly "girly".
Next we have the duo, which is inspired by Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. These are so fun!
Be Excellent to Each Other is a black jelly polish packed with rainbow shimmer, flakes, glitters, and flecks. Formula was excellent (LOL!), and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. Hubba hubba! This polish is sexy! Just look at the rainbow of colors popping out of that black base! It's truly spectacular!

Next we have the limited edition polish that will only be available during this restock.
The Kinky Grasshopper is an aqua-minty crelly base filled with multichrome flakes, iridescent green-blue flakes, metallic blue flakes, as well as fine microglitters in green and aqua and a dusting of holo shimmer. Formula was very nice to use and I used 2 coats for full coverage. I'm a sucker for mints and this one is perfection! I just adore the subtle yet complex effect of the the glitters and flakes in this polish. You will definitely want to snag it before it is gone if you are a mint lover!
