Hi everyone! Today I am VERY excited to share Smitten Polish's Christmas in Stars Hollow Collection. If you don't know already by the name, this is a GILMORE GIRLS themed collection! I might have squealed a bit when Noelie told me about this collection because Gilmore Girls is my favorite show of all time. My addiction is so bad that I even guessed the name of one of them! I Smell Snow is an icy blue holo with added holo microglitter. Formula was great to work with and built up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. This polish captures sparkly snow perfectly and the added holo glitters give it such twinkle! This was the name I guessed and it's a pretty well known fact that Lorelai Gilmore can smell snow coming, and the first snow of the year is her absolute favorite thing!
Buy Me a Boa and Drive Me To Reno is a bright cherry red jelly filled with holo microglitter. Formula is fantastic and it built up nicely to opacity in 2 coats. This is a cool, pinky red shade that makes me think of cherry lollipops. It absolutely stole my heart! This was inspired by a classic Emily Gilmore moment where she is just done with Richard's shenanigans and breaks her prim and proper demeanor to deliver this hilarious blow!

I Ate the Fuzzy Certs is a white crelly filled with multiple sizes of green glitter and a sprinkling of holo microglitter. Formula was very nice and built up to opacity in 3 thin coats. Oh man, I don't feel like there are enough white crelly glitters being made anymore and I was SO EXCITED for this one! They are always some of my favorite polishes and this one is no exception. One of the things that I love about Gilmore Girls is that it is pretty much a show about nothing...but good ole everyday sort of nothing. Who can't relate to being desperate enough to grab the certs that have been hanging out in the bottom of your purse for too long...especially when you are holed up in a room at a Bed & Breakfast STARVING and trying to avoid the uncomfortably curious owners and guests.

Big Head Want Dolly is a bubblegum pink holo with added holo microglitter. Formula was very nice to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is a happy, squishy pink and I can totally see Lorelai frolicking around in as a kid. The name of this polish actually comes from the unfortunate fact that Lorelai burned all of her baby pictures because she had an "unusually large head"...and Emily wasn't shy about reminding her of that.

So thank you for indulging me in my Gilmore Girls obsession during this swatch and review. These polishes are gorgeous so you definitely need them ALL! All you will need then to complete your Christmas in Stars Hollow is a Santa burger...for something festive and disgusting!
